This life vest is so adorable!!! My little merdog looks cute in it! The medium fits a little beagle perfectly! Just have to tighten the straps. Can't wait to try it with her in the pool!

Super cute. Seems durable. Two paragraphs below this one in my review; first one is about sizing, second is about functionality. **As a disclaimer** I'm unaware of what is required or if there are any requirements for dog life vests as there are for human life vests. This is just my thoughts on the vest. It is the only one I have ever purchased. **Too long, didn't read at the bottom.** My dog is a bit wonky for the sizing. Her chest is 19, her neck fits into the small size, 9in or so, and her length is . Since the sizing chart says to go by the size up, I did. Bought a medium. The neck strap had to be almost the shortest it could be, and I had to snug up her chest a bit as well. Length was perfect. I was able to make it snug and secure around her despite being awkward sizing. 4/5 because I can't really confirm if it actually worked as a life vest. It is definitely filled with thin a padding that is buoyant, but is it enough for a 15 lb dog? I can't say. She didn't sink with our without it, I'm sure it made swimming less intesive for her though. I feel as though it's more comparable to an adult human using a pool noodle or two rather than an appropriate life vest for. TLDR: probably better for looks than functionality. Would it save your dog from drowning? Idk. My dog can swim without it on, but she doesn't swim a lot. It seemed to help her like a pool noodle or two could help an adult human.

The life jacket is adorable!! I purchased the life jacket for our Maltese- shitzu mix and it fit her very well. The velcro layer plus the adjustable straps make the jacket very secure as well as making it adaptable for other tiny dogs that have a broad chest (i.e. boston terrrier). A great purchase!

This life jacket is pretty well made, and is comfortable enough for her to run around for hours in it. Also modeled by my ridiculously large cat. After a summer of use which included many beach and river trips, it's still in good condition. Seems to wash up well and doesn't stink afterwards. Looking forward to pulling it out next summer, though she has learned to swim because we used it consistently enough. Have not put the cat in water with it on. 😅

The media could not be loaded. Our female Bully is not a very good swimmer yet. She fitted a size medium. She is about 44 lbs. This mermaid life vest was perfect. The color and the fit are spot on. She is comfortable moving on land and in water. Perfect for our swimmer and the price was super reasonable.

Great concept but not so great quality. We used this lifejacket yesterday and although it looks amazing some things aren’t quite right, e.g the handle on the back to pick up your dog from the water was not very strong and has already made a few tare holes which isn’t ideal after one use. Also the straps to adjust to the size of your dog don’t adjust properly, you can’t tighten and keep it tight. We had to keep tightening the straps. Saying all this though it does work as a lifejacket but not sure how long it will last. Great as a fashion accessory but not as something you use everytime your dog goes swimming or it’ll be destroyed pretty quickly.
