We used the tops of our front loading machines but so often would lose items behind, between or on the sides so decided to purchase this countertop after reading reviews on a few. It's relatively easy to put together. The shelf only has 1 screw towards the back on each side to connect it to the base so it can flip up. It's not an issue and is enough to hold it in place so it doesn't move but seemed like it should have had 2 screws on each side to be more sturdy. It's easy to assemble, looks great and provides so much more functional space on top of the washer and dryer. I recommend this product.

Absolutely loved this purchase! It's sturdy and very easy to put together. They even give you an attachment to use on your power tool for the screws - which I have never seen a company do. All together, it took us less than 10 minutes to build it. It also cleans extremely easily.

This product unifies your laundry room and looks very nice. It comes unassembled but doesn’t take much time to screw on the sides and shelf. It’s very heavy so you would think it would stay in place but it slides with the vibration of the washer. I love having this wide surface on which to fold clothes. My only complaint is it’s very large so I wish it was made in smaller sizes. There isn’t much side/back space after installation. Not everyone has a laundry room with infinite space- my appliances are in a laundry closet. It was a challenge to place on my appliances and I am constantly adjusting it back in place after several washes. Overall my closet looks more polished and it functions as promised.

Wow, what a difference!!! Very happy with this. Hides the ugly laundry hookups and gets rid of the gap between the washer and dryer. Also prevents things from sliding off the back or side. Maybe one day, I will do a countertop wall to wall but this helps a lot in the meantime. Protective packaging but the Styrofoam was super messy and annoying. Wish they had used cardboard instead. Be careful cutting the box open. Assembly was easy. I recommend using a drill to make it go faster. They provide a hex bit and a hex wrench.
