We have a lot of cat trees for our three rescue cats. We bought this one for our neurotic girl so she could have a new one for her very own. Our 9lb baby loves it especially the basket. She is in it several times a day throughout the day. She loves to wrestle in it and play from it. She's a bit destructive with her toys but this is still standing up to her. Her 13lb sister fits in it too without any issues. Solid build. It does get a bit wobbly when they jump off but it hasn't fallen yet. If we have to we'll attach it to the wall witha hook. Easy to assemble and use. Attractive appearance. Highly recommend it. Not just for kittens. Both cats fit into the cubby without any issues. Not at the same time, of course.

You should know that if you have a cat that’s bigger than medium size, meaning probably weighing more than 8 pounds and overweight, this probably will be too small. The little hiding box and the sling bed are too small unless your cat doesn’t mind curling up. Also, the design makes it easy to assemble as long as you don’t mind, reminding the videotape that you have to access through Amazon, but it is necessary to lean it against the wall because it wobbles otherwise. It is sturdy, and it’s pretty easy to build. But to be honest, it’s more of a cream/beige color than a white, no problems, except that the stairs are a little flimsy after having it for over 2-3 month or so and it just recently like the string is not intact. Really but that was more due to my cat, but I feel like it could just be better about it. And yeah, my cat really likes it. She sleeps on there and it’s one of her favorite spots to hang out. Update now she’s like 8 months I feel like this is good for kittens definitely not for older and bigger cats tho since it became really unstable and wobbly she really likes to play in it, and she would have really big Zumies so if you’re looking for something to last, maybe don’t get this item, but she really loved it as kitten

I bought this as a back up and thought the J poles were missing, but they were there. Went with this because of the lower price. It's short but good in the living room where it doesn't block sight lines. Cat immediately liked the top perch. He had to figure out how to use the hammock and now loved it. The hanging toy was ripped soon after. It's really a 4+ star rating because it can tip over. Our cat loves to jump the tower on a run and has tipped it a few times. He's adjusted so it still tips but doesn't fall. So this unit may not be good for kids since they may push or try to climb it and it may tip if not secured. Ours is free standing at the end of the couch. The hammock sticks out on the back side. Tried to turn it 180 degrees so it could be flush, but then the opening to the enclosed house is blocked By the couch. The cat can perch just above the arm of the couch. The house part of the unit is a little small for our long kitty so he hardly uses that feature. He uses the scratching posts. Not luxurious appointed, which was expected for the price. We can live with the tipping issue because the cat knows how to keep it standing and we'lljust pick it up if it does fall again. So in our case, it's good for the price and we like it because the cat loves it.

Over all my cat loves this! I have had it set up for a couple days now, and he loves it. It wasn’t hard to put together, it wasn’t too big or too small. The only complaint I have is it is not very sturdy, which makes it difficult for my cat to use, and unsafe. It slide around when he jumps on and off of it, and it is too heavy. I had to purchase supplies to try and secure it to my wall, which is not easy to do when I’m a renter and need renter friendly options. I hope they work on making this more secure so someone doesn’t end up with something broken.

I bought this becuase I am fostering kittens. They needed something on which to climb and scratch. They love this tree. And, I like it because it is not as ugly as some cat trees you see. It was super easy to put together because I watched the video that was posted in the Amazon ad. Written instructions were provided, but I still opted for the video. I like the quality of the materials. It's easy to clean with my hand held vacuum. And, it doesn't take up too much space. I'm glad I bought this.
