I worry about using dark colored pieces in my bathroom for decor because it often makes the room feel smaller. This was perfect for me since it gave that cute spooky vibe but the black and white still ended up balancing well, without taking any "space" feeling from the room. This curtain isn't super thick, but it's not cheap and thin either. There's no grommets at the top, so just be aware of that (my curtain hooks cover those pieces up, but it may bother some to have the "unfinished" look of stitching as opposed to a clean grommet). ... show more

The good- I like that it's a nice medium to heavyweight cotton material and that it's a Oeko Tex certified Cotton material. We need more of these certifications in our materials and products. Love that factor. Now the bad. The black stripes look already faded and it's brand new. Also it has creases that made discoloration marks. Maybe the lighter colors are better, but I won't use this one. It looks used even though it's new. Because of the fading and the crease discolorations. This is the perfect, fun addition to your bathroom for the Halloween season (or if you just like ghosts!) The material is light weight, yet durable. It feels more like a cotton blend than the usual silky polyester feel of a lot of shower curtains. The pattern is printed completely onto the shower curtain, rather than pressed onto the front side, so I suspect it will last for a long time without fading or compromising the design. I'm a Halloween fanatic but still like my house to look put together and grown up...but if I can sneak some fun, spooky stuff in you can bet I'll do it. I have a black and white shower curtain but it's kinda bland. I have a table cloth that's black with white eyes and I LOVE it so when I found this shower curtain with the same pattern, i was so excited. It's a shower curtain. There's not much to say about it. We don't use our bath tub because the drain doesn't work well and we have a separate stand up shower, but I still have a shower curtain for looks, so I can't speak on its waterproof capabilities. It does feel like it would stand up to showers and splashes though. It's a PVC kinda feel. Hung up easily and looks really cute in my bathroom -- fun without being tacky. This shower curtain is perfect for those who love ghosts and ghost decor for Halloween or Falloween if you like to blend it in early with Fall decor. The material feels a little thin to me, so you'll need to use a liner with it. It's great for kid's bathrooms or adults, lol.
