This bike! I am so excited I got this on Vine program! I have not put it together yet, I need my friend to help me . After reading the instructions, It looks simple enough to put together, but I am no expert so I am going to do this slowly LOL, I need my friend to hold up the bike tire, I realized this is not a one person job. I'm such a girly-girl! I don't like putting anything together! not even puzzles! I've never had a bike from Royal Baby. I'm a royal Baby LOL in general. I'm super excited to ride this beautiful mountain bicycle out in SoCal! It looks like GREAT quality so far after taking the parts out of the box. The bike seat is VERY nice, it seems like it might be memory foam cushion. the cushion is quite thick. The kickstand works great and is solid. The entire bike frame is excellent quality. The gear looks pretty solid too. The tire came already inflated, nice. They are thick with various sized bumps (see my pic) and durable looking for mountain bike rides here in SoCal. The bike tire says Kenda on it. The size, for me, looks perfect. I am short at 5'3". Weight 125-130 lbs. I did a little research as to which tire size I would need prior to ordering this mountain bike. The instruction Manual and User guide are , thank goodness, written in excellent English. This came with all the tools I will need, I really appreciate that. I will return to update this once my putting it all together vid is edited. I don't really like this shade of lime green, but it was the only option given to me so I can't be upset. (I like the red color bike better!) I got this bike for myself, I can sometimes be a kiddo! This bike is built with quality materials and components. I was pleasantly surprised when opening the box to see that both the disc brakes and the gearing are made by Shimano. The tires also stand out in terms of quality, and overall the bike has a clean and appealing look. The knobby tires provide good traction while remaining quieter than expected on asphalt. In my experience, similar tires often produce noticeable road noise, but these roll more quietly than others I have used in the past, which makes the bike more comfortable for neighborhood riding. The bike feels very durable, with thoughtful features like a rear gear guard that adds protection. The rims feel solid and well constructed. They feel sturdy enough to resist bending while still remaining lightweight. The front suspension fork has also performed well on the few small trails my son has ridden, helping absorb bumps and improve ride comfort. I purchased this bike for my 7 year old son, who had quickly outgrown his 18 inch bike. I chose the 24 inch size so he could grow into it. I was initially concerned about the height since he is still young, but with the seat lowered nearly all the way down, he is able to ride and control the bike comfortably. This is his first bike with gears, so there has been a learning curve, but that was expected. Assembly was straightforward and easy to complete on my own. All parts were included, and the necessary tools were provided, which made the process efficient. The most challenging step was aligning the handlebars, but the center markings on the bars made this simple and ensured proper alignment. While the bike is priced higher than I had initially planed to spend, it includes features such as high quality disc brakes that are often found on much more expensive bikes. This RoyalBaby Kids Mountain Bike for Boys and Girls is very nice. This bike is sturdy construction, easy installation, and good medal instruction. The two wheels are big and nice. It came with all the right screws to assemble the bike. The bell is working and loud enough. The light is too loose, so has to put a piece of soft foam to tight it up.
