This bike is very well built, but rather heavy. My kid had a different brand balance bike that he outgrew and it was very light compared to this one. I love how the pedals can snap right in or out without needing tools. It was extremely easy to assemble. The only issue during assembly was that the instructions were not specific to that model so some didn’t apply, but it missed some information as well. I thought the back reflector was missing the bracket. It wasn’t until browsing review pictures that I figured out how it attaches to the bike. However, there was no mention of that in the instructions that came with it. I really love the brown leather like material. It adds a nice contrast to the blue. The tires came completely filled so that was nice. I would recommend that the company reinforces the box because the staples came undone and the box was essentially open. It was pure luck that nothing fell off. Overall, it is a really nice bike that seems like it will last a long time. ... show more

I've had my fair share of bikes and this one was pretty good quality. Tires were quality. Everything else felt pretty nice. I'd say pretty good for the price at the time ~$130. It was noticeably heavy.

Specifically, the 14-inch model is perfectly sized for the 3-to-6 age range, hitting that sweet spot where they're big enough to handle a bike but still need that low center of gravity for confidence. The build quality on this is immediately apparent; it feels solid and reliable, not flimsy like some of the other entry-level options I’ve seen. I particularly appreciate the wider tires, which aren't just for looks—they offer excellent stability, especially when they're first getting the hang of steering on grass or uneven pavement. The true genius of this bicycle is the conversion mechanism. It really lives up to the "EZ Balance to Pedal" promise. Unlike traditional bikes where you're wrestling with crank sets and small training wheels that do more harm than good, this system allows you to completely remove the pedals and crank assembly to use it as a true balance bike first. This lets my child master the core skill of balancing and gliding, which is the hardest part of learning to ride. This is a high quality bike that was easy to put together. One of the greatest features of this bike is the fact that it's convertible. In other words, it is both a balanced bike and a pedal bike. For a toddler, the balance bike without pedals is great for them to learn how to balance on two wheels. That's how we've used this bike since our toddler isn't quite big enough for a pedal bike. However this easily converts into a bike with pedals so that they can make the transition from balanced bike to pedal bike. Mine arrived damaged, the front wheel’s tire was partially offset from the frame, the tire’s nozzle leaked, and it was also bent. We were able to partially fix it so my kid could ride it for their birthday but ended up having to return and get a new one. Hopefully the one they send is good. The bike is very well made otherwise and my kid loves it and would’ve given it 5 stars otherwise. Kid was able to slightly balance on it the first use so I’m looking forward to more bike lessons. It was easy to put together and all the parts were there. Love the color and finishes, doesn’t feel cheap. Overall very good bike! ... show more
