Love, Love, Love. I ordered this for myself, I am a 30+ year old mother of 4 who used to be quite artistic in my younger years, but stopped when I had children. I was so happy when I received this! The wooden case is BEAUTIFUL! It really is a very nice, wooden case. The workmanship on it is great, and it is very sturdy! I would recommend, if you like the look of the wood, stain or seal it right away, before you being working with the easel, because the wood will get stained with pencil, paint, etc. I like the look of the paint, etc, the "used" look, but others may not. Assembly of the easel (basically putting a few nuts and bolts in) was super quick and easy. My 4 year old helped me. I love that the easel is adjustable to your favorite angle, etc. I originally put the easel shelf (the little wood piece on the front of the easel that holds your work at the bottom) on the right way, but then I ended up turning it around, so that I could reach the bottom of the canvas easier. The drawers are great, if not short in height. Everything in the case comes in black plastic which holds it all in. I immediately removed everything from the plastic and threw the plastic out. I sorted my own supplies and added with these supplies and bagged them, and sorted in the drawers. You can fit a lot of stuff in here, I have several sets of acrylics, including the larger liquitex tubes, a few sets of oils, a few sets of water colors, many more paint brushes, and my drawing sets of pencils, etc. I love this case, it is portable, useful, I love the easel, I love the drawers, it is very nice looking, and I would definitely buy again. I am thinking of buying one for each of my kids, to use as they get older. The pain and brushes are good quality, the other supplies are good, and useful for "trying out" lots of different techniques.

Great for the price. Some bad reviews are legit, I did get splinters on the sides where you put up the canvas but it's avoidable if your careful. I was able to paint a 18x24 canvas with no problems but of course you have to adjust accordingly during the paint session. I am pretty happy for the price. Great storage kit. Wish it was bigger but it's damn near perfect so your stuff doesn't budge while you lug this around. The items inside are for a beginner in my opinion, like a kid possibly. I let my children (7 and 4) experience some of the things in the kit and planning on giving all contents inside to my 7 year old. I'm still a beginner myself but this stuff is more kid-like in my opinion. Of course you can use and make do with the material but I started on Bob Ross wet on wet painting and that is more my style right now. Probably will replace the inside with all my Ross products. You can purchase the box separately which is what I should have done BUT I'm glad my children and I could experience the items. They love the pastel chalk and this kit is def a great way to experience all mediums to see what your into.

Perfect starting easel for any media. Closes up into more or less a box for easy storage. We use it on the table for projects and just for hobby. Comes with starting supplies to make all your beautiful creations. Since it come with everything you need to start plus the easel it definitely would make a great gift item as well. We have had our for a couple years now and its still working great. (Even though it has paint on it now, LOL. Would make sure you wipe off any paint/media before it dries if you are concerned about it have paint on it permanently. We kind of like it looking like it gets used though.)

I am not rating this product based on the quality of the paints or brushes. I purchased it for my sister as a Christmas present and she loved it. It has everything that she might need to start painting. It includes a dozen 12ml paints in three varieties: watercolor, acrylic, and oil. It has three brushes for each type of paint (that means 9 total). It also includes 12 oil pastels, 12 watercolor pencils, and 12 chalk pastels. The variety of the colors is the same for each different type of paint. I like that it all comes in one case but each set is in its own compartment. I also liked the easel that is built into the case. Its simple to put together. Once I figure out how to I will also include pictures so you know exactly what your getting. The only complaint I have about this product is that the case warped just slightly after a week or two on the bottom but its not anything problematic. I should also mention that the wood is not super smooth. you wont get splinters or anything but it is not smooth and soft to the touch.

Paint wasn’t dried out like other have received. I wish I got extra acrylic or water color paint instead of oil paint because I’m not sure how to use oil paints. I have yet to use the spatulas because they don’t seem as accurate or durable. The colored pencils are not as pigmented as I wish they were. Paint brushes aren’t the best quality but they have given me some great pieces of work. I wouldn’t say it worth nearly $80, maybe $60. Overall I have got some great pieces of work out of it.

I’ll admit, I was super hesitant to buy this at first because of some of the reviews, and I didn’t want to waste money. But this looked like the paint set that had everything I wanted to try! So now, I Can’t say enough good things about this set. It’s exactly what I was looking for and extremely affordable for all the quality stuff you get. I’m 22 and just finished the college year and wanted to get more into painting, and this is perfect for beginners. The paints are easy to apply, fresh, and nothing came broken or old! And it got here right on time. Here’s my first painting with it— excited to do more :) don’t hesitate, just buy it!
