Read massive amounts of reviews and finally settled upon this comforter for my son's room. Upon opening, it was quite flat but quickly fluffed up after a cycle in the dryer with some tennis balls. Very warm and fluffy (does need to be fluffed daily to keep it plush). However, the small feathers are everywhere! and I did put it into a zippered duvet cover. Most frustrating to be cleaning up feathers everytime I fluff it or take off the duvet to clean it. UGH. Wish I had known so many feathers would leak out as I would not have purchased this for the amount of money I paid for it. ... show more

I wasn't able to find a Duvet cover that was just the right size. The comforter is a little longer than the twin sized Duvet cover I bought, but I just stuffed it in, and it's fine. It fluffed up nicely on its own after a couple of days out of the bag and provides a lot of warmth. I was worried about the excess feathers that could potentially leak...but I have not experienced any fly away feathers.
