I'm gonna list the problems I've incountered . The gas line doesn't line up well and I bent the bracket to make it fit better and still ended up taping it together, also it definitely is not non stick and this is a problem because it does produce lots of heat even on lowest setting. I used it on the outer perimeter for best results. Not that easy to clean when everything burns. One pound of bacon will fill the grease trap. ... show more

I had the same issues as most others here. I read about the gas hookup breaking easily for most people during the initial installation, and I was able to avoid this, though the connection is absolutely not long enough or even at the proper angle. I used it for 3 nights camping. The flat top got very very hot with little flame adjustment which was not great, because everything cooked super fast and was overcooked or burnt. I ended up putting a pan on top of the flat top just to not burn eggs. So even on low, it cooked like it was on high. Finally, after moving the flat top on day 3 to pack it up, the gas connection snapped, just like many reviews said happened to them. The part is absolutely a weak point and needs to be redesigned. The unit itself looks and feels sturdy enough, but one critical component that seems to fail a lot, plus the lack of significant heat adjustment makes this not worth the buy. I purchased this specifically for tailgating at the Army - Bucknell game this past weekend. Assembly was easy enough. Just watch that the item ships with the ignition cable slipped through one of the holes to bolt the propane elements to the body of the grill. If not removed from the bolt hole first, you risk splitting the ignition cable. I almost did but electrical tape resolved the issue. Heats up quickly and maintains excellent heat on low-setting. Stayed lit in fairly windy conditions. The cooking surface is heavy and holds heat very well. Cooked breakfast for 25 and then hotdogs and hamburgers after the game. The griddle cleaned up well with a good burn and then soap and Bon Ami. I'm going to use it instead of my grill for some meals. I'd suggest selling a cover as an option with the grill. ... show more

Had trouble screwing on the propane bottle. Tried to force it and ended up breaking it. A little sealant and we were good to go. For th money it was a good deal.

I wasn't sure about the quality when I first saw it. BUT it was more than I expected. Great little grill for the price. It's small, which I like because it doesn't take up much room in my camper. Easy to set up, clean and take down.

I finally got the little thing together and was able to use it and I really liked it. It was really easy to put together and it looks nice. The only problem I really have is that an instruction book . When you get to how to use it and cook on it there's no instructions how to cook on a flat top . You really need to update your book Royal Gourmet and fix that issue , but besides that ,I like it alot ... show more

This grill works wonderfully - plenty of grill space. *I did have one BLOOPER - rookie move: I totally forgot about the slant that allows the liquids to flow to the drainer and tried to cook eggs... YIKES>>> before I knew it .. the eggs were heading to the drainer. BAHAHAHA - it was hilarious. The second time, I turned the grill around and the third time, I used a small aluminum pan to cook the eggs. There were no issues. Two thumbs up for this product ... show more
