This food saved my dog. She was having bloody stool because we changed her food to blue bufallo...we wnet through hell. She pooped blood for about two weeks, we took her to the vet first time she pooped blood, changed her food to prescription, gave her antibiotics, gave her acid med and nothing made her better. We decided to buy this food and she good better on the second day of eating it. We gave her this food for a week and then changed to another roayl canin food and she is healthier than ever. So, I have two French bulldogs who are allergic to everything. I’ve been using this dog food for about two months and I tell you it’s amazing. The itching has definitely decrease by 50 to 60%. They’re no longer taking their Aquil medication it’s expensive, but it beats buying a whole bunch of dog food. That’s gonna make them miserable. ... show more

    • The Last Lonely Call at the End of a Long Life.
I went through a big Blues phase when I was in the Marine Corps, listening to as many artists as possible and plumbing the longing and loneliness I felt within myself and the music (any new Marine can identify). Two albums moved me and stuck with me more than any of the others through the years, as I not only learned to play the guitar myself but also explored other periods and genres of music. One was Muddy Waters: Folk Singer, and the other was Mississippi John Hurt's Last Sessions. The guitar is spare but played with what feels like effortless expert fingering. The songs are truncated, simple, and sweet. The voice is hollow and haunting, and often times you can hear the man out of breath, wheezing over the microphone, as he tries to get his wind back. Sure enough Mississippi John Hurt died shortly after the recordings. In song after song you can hear the sharecroppers hard life, the dusty hot summers of the south, drinking jar whiskey on a porch at dusk, staggering home drunk on the side of dirt road late at night, crying out for lost love or a woman long gone. This album is best listened to on a long road trip with the windows down, or pulling weeds in the backyard, or just getting low with a bottle, a glass on a wooden table, and a spare light bulb casting shadows. ... show more

    • The Gentle Soul Healer Of The Music World !!!!!
I first heard of MJH maybe a year ago and now he is my favorite musician hands down, no arguments. His music has an immediate calming affect with every word, and every pluck of his strings. There are other good songsters and blues musicians from his era, but none can do with a song what MJH can. He can take any song and make it fun, lively, gentle, and calming no matter what the subject of the song is. This album spans songs with serious subject matter from Joe Turner, and Waiting For You to less serious subject matter like Funky Butt, and The Spider. No matter what the subject matter is the feeling is always the same, he can go from singing about a spider to singing about a womanizer and the result is the same. His music transcends time, and no matter what the mood I'm in I can instantly be uplifted by his words and his song. No other musician can make me smile when I'm down like MJH, truly the gentle soul healer of the music world ! ... show more

    • Acoustic magic and a special recording
It's hard to distinguish the quality of these last recordings from the recordings from 1928. The gentle acoustic guitar, soft voice and stories in the songs are as fresh in the later recordings as in the early recordings. The music never becomes tiring, so I load a full deck of John Hurt CDs and proceed with whatever else I want to be doing. I don't know why they call it "The Blues" when these recordings are so peaceful and refreshing to the spirit. When we should look back on our past, before electric instruments, beyond the popular entertainers of the day, into the life of everyday people ... we would probably see many musicians who entertained themselves and their neighbors just because they enjoyed doing it. With the recordings of John Hurt, someone captured magic in a bottle and preserved it for the rest of us to enjoy. This CD is just a bit of the special magic from those days. ENJOY ! ... show more

    • great for allergies
This is great but it is hard to reach the University of Illinois Veterinary Medicine to get a prescription monthly. For that I have to reduce the stars. Otherwise, it has worked well for my small dog, Suri.
