This food saved my dog. She was having bloody stool because we changed her food to blue bufallo...we wnet through hell. She pooped blood for about two weeks, we took her to the vet first time she pooped blood, changed her food to prescription, gave her antibiotics, gave her acid med and nothing made her better. We decided to buy this food and she good better on the second day of eating it. We gave her this food for a week and then changed to another roayl canin food and she is healthier than ever. My dog is allergic to EVERYTHING. (he can eat ONLY beef, lamb, eggs, milk, and barley) Because of the way it is processed, this is the only dry food the vet will okay for him to eat

    • When your dog really is allergic to most foods, this is the go-to product.

If your dog has specific food allergies, this is going to be your "final" go to product. The protein molecule is broken down to such a size that it does not trigger an allergic reaction from your dog. Obviously, try eliminating all wheat, all white potato, and try a few other foods. However, if you get to the end of the line with dog food (and I did with one of my dogs), this is really your only option. That said, the kibble pieces are enormous for a small dog (despite the label for "small dogs," it isn't small enough for a Chihuahua). So, I have to use a grinder to get this to a powder form, then mix with warm water. My dog loves it and does well on it. Yes, all of the skin issues have resolved. ... show more

After a 6 month battle with urinary crystals, this food was able to help my dog be crystal-free. She didn't care much for it at first, but now eats it eagerly. Perhaps she likes being healthy?
