Roxy wetsuits are great! I have used before and always prefer it. This specific suit arrived before time, looked great, and the size was exactly how the size chart showed. However, when I tried for the first time, it ripped in multiple places in the chest. I am used to putting wetsuits, have very short nails, and nothing specific happened when putting it. As I said, I love the roxy suits, so I think this was an isolated item defect. Even with this issue, I would still recommend it. I am stoked about this wetsuit. First one I've ever owned, and I am glad it was this one. The colors are bright, and the fit is nice and snug - I can't wait to go out lake surfing in this. The size chart is your best friend here - I went with a size 16 and it was perfect. I was worried that it wouldn't be long enough, but it is longer than I expected. Do be warned though - go by the picture's color, and not the descriptions of them. I got confused once I had ordered it because Amazon was showing me that I had ordered the orange one. I waited and prayed for it to be black, not because of the color itself, but because I don't think my hips would have liked that color too well ;) The other reviewers were totally right - this suit works very well with curves! It also insulates great. In the cold waters of Michigan, I will be very warm, I can tell you that. Almost wish I bought one with a hood, but that's an easy $30 fix. I am 5'8", weight 145 pounds, slightly long in the waist. I purchased a women's size 10. This wet suit fit perfectly. I wore it on a 10 dive weekend in water 79 F, each dive around 50 minutes. I am naturally much colder than others, I was perfectly warm and comfortable while those around me who all wore significantly less were cold. I was able to get the suit on and off, even when wet (I use the plastic bag method which makes a huge difference). The suit stretched, fit tightly, kept me warm, was comfortable. I am all thumbs up. And..lol..I got lots of compliments on the look. I had tried on numerous other suits, read tons of reviews before ordering this product. ... show more

if you have curves, you won't be able to get into it, or if you get one large enough to go over your hips, it will be huge elsewhere. I'm 5'2, 140 lbs. wide hips (aka latina). Got a size 12 (which by the way, I'm an 8 in jeans) and this thing won't go up past my hips. Great quality and I wish it fit me, but... the waist area has not a lot of give, so it gets stuck around the hip area. ... show more

    • Cute but SOOOOOOO TIGHT
My 13 year old daughter, who wears youth size 12 or 14, could HARDLY get the women’s size 4 on. Took about 10 mins for her to get it on and she needed my help to get out of it. Going to return because there is no way she could do it by herself. Very cute white/pink floral print though. We got this same suit in girls size 16 in the navy floral print and it fit her great and she was able to get it on/off no problem. ... show more

    • Very weird design - runs small
The pattern is very cute but the design of the suit is odd. There is a full panel of material under the zipper that makes it impossible to unzip the wetsuit and easily pull the top down and your arms out which is what most people do when they aren't in the water. A selling feature of other wetsuits is having a very long zipper so it is easier to get in and out of the suit. I have no idea why this wetsuit has the attached panel under the zipper restricting access. This makes it very hard to get into the wetsuit and is just too much of a struggle to deal with. I can't imagine spending a day in this wet suit and having to pull it up and down to go to the bathroom. This wetsuit also fits tighter than other brands of the same size. Definitely a junior size and not a women's, so if you have hips and curves good luck trying to maneuver into this suit. ... show more

Really pleased. I have a curvy adult body, and this suit works like a dream. Wasn't sure what to expect, because I usually think of Roxy as a juniors brand. The 12 fit me great - no problem in the torso length, per others' reviews. There's a great inner back piece that puts a layer of neoprene between you and the zipper - so no cold seeping through straight to your skin. Now I can play in the ocean with my son without getting hypothermic.👍🏽 Would highly recommend! ... show more
