Came damaged. After a few usages I will update gave it 2 stars due to the damage nd not having some label to be carful. It being electrical nd damage is on top it can mess up the control (buttons) later on. It’s a beautiful item but disappointing it can damaged. Could’ve sold it that way or maybe thru transportation. It was very well packaged so find it hard to believe it was thru transportation. We’ll see. Won’t return “now” cause of something not that, serious , but will if it’s not working properly or start making noises during usages. UPDATE::: seller responded quickly to resolve my issue. I am pleased, hubby’s been using the dryer. Literally for 2 days at full capacity. Nd he said the dryer has been getting hotter.. when he first dried clothes it wasnt so hot. This is my honest review. Nd yes I do recommend. This little dryer was supposed to be for a small space in my apartment to dry only towels and things for just myself, a household of one. The first dryer immediately started making noise not long after I got it. I wrote to Rovsun and they were kind enough to replace it. The second dryer also did the same thing, after replacing the belt and making sure all parts were oiled, it still hums very loudly and makes a horrible loud screeching noise each time the barrel switches from clockwise to counterclockwise (a feature I wish it didn't have) it goes around a few minutes, stops, then changes direction for a few minutes and does this continuously for hours. It takes 2.5 hours to dry maybe 5 towels, 8 washcloths, 2 dish towels, a few socks and panties. It can dry sheets a little quicker but takes about 2 hours to dry a queen size comforter. The space in the barrel is relatively large but when over packed will take hours and hours to get anything dry. This dryer does not work well and the noise will drive you insane. It's super cheaply made and should only be used for one person (like myself) and very few items at a time, temporarily (at best). The noise is very annoying and so is the switching of the barrel turning. As soon as I can afford a regular dryer I will be happy to get rid of this hunk of junk! Don't waste your money on this obnoxiously noisy and inefficient machine! ... show more

First thing’s first a standard full load in this thing on average is going to take about 2 hours. This is across the board for compact dryers. It’s a good size and easily fits two light king comforters. The touch controls are great. There’s bulky for heavier items like heavy comforters towels and jeans; there’s a smart cycle that I thought would be an automatic thing that sensed your load and dried accordingly but it’s really just for small loads. (I used the smart button last night and it updated the time to longer so there may be something being sensed idk) Takes about thirty minutes. There’s timed that will cycle through thirty minute intervals and there’s the preset button that will cycle through hour intervals up to 8 hours. The wrinkle care option tells the dryer to to switch spin directions back and forth through out the cycle. There is also a button lock so your kid or pet can’t accidentally change the settings. One thing I like to do is send my clothes through an extra spin cycle before I put them in the dryer. The spin cycle on the 2.4. Cubic foot Comfee washer I got with this works great but a second spin cycle leaves my dryer barely having to do anything and cuts down on how long it takes a load. I also use wool dryer balls. This further helps reduce cycle time by helping move air between garments. A dry towel in your load will also decrease drying time. After every cycle the sanitize cycle starts and it used a UV light to kill any pathogens in your clothes. It’s not a loud machine and should not be a problem for apartment dwellers. It comes with a standard compact unit lint filter at the back of the unit. Definitely keep this clean. This filter rubs the back of the machine as it spins freely. I’m going to use the soft side of small Velcro strips to see if I can stop this. It’s not an issue I just don’t like it. There’s also a filter at the front that should be cleaned at least once a month. This is not the kind of unit that you can let laundry just pile up and expect it to get done quickly so do keep the size of the unit in mind. All in all I do recommend the unit so far. I will update my review as time goes on. I have not had the unit a full week yet. I did purchase the protection plan for the unit. I don’t want to have any problems getting it repaired or replace in case of a break down. ... show more

I needed a new apartment dryer really badly as my older smaller unit was no longer cutting it. This one caught my eye and had a lot more capacity, and features with a price that was higher but not too to bad. After using this for a few months now I can say, why didn't I buy this sooner!? First off, it dries so much better. Still fits where my older one was. Using standard 110v plug in still. I love this unit. It has a nice aesthetic, it has charming button pad sounds which is a breath of fresh air over a unreliable dial that kept having issues in my old unit. This not only dries better but it uses the same filters so I get to resuse and keep buying the same filters! Then finally it definitely helps with wrinkles so much better as the dryer cycle stops and changes direction to really help break up the load from getting stuck in one spot. It's very smart and is a feel of luxury in a apartment! So far I can definitely recommend this unit. Was delivered safely in a giant box packed very well! ... show more

Edited to add that I had messaged Rovsun (prior to my review going live). They responded promptly and after explaining my problem have reissued a prepaid label for return shipping. They were responsive and very easy to deal with so I have added a star for their customer service. Original Review: For context: I have a 1 cubic ft washer and was using a 1.5 cubic 800w Costway portable dryer for years. So I understand the limitations of portable dryers and had reasonable exceptions. This was supposed to be a significant upgrade. Instead the same amount of clothes took twice as long to dry and the unit needs an hour to cool down in-between cycles. One small load of laundry literally took 5 hours start to finish. It also came with a manual that had no real instructions on how to use it so I had to look for a YouTube video. The "smart" button is just a shorter timed dry for smaller loads and does not actually sense anything. So I decided to return it for a different brand and to add insult to injury they want me to pay $170 for return shipping! On the plus side it's a very nice looking unit (in the included picture it's the larger one on the right- it still has the plastic on the outside). Having the controls on the top is very convenient and I like how it has a light come on when you open the door. I'm very disappointed that this didn't work out. ... show more

Zero stars if I could! The controls on the panel make you THINK you have control over the wrinkle guard and the drum reversing. The drum is going to reverse at times Whether you wanted to or not! This will,of course, wear out the belt much more quickly. The high heat is not that hot. The timer works, so far. The directions are pitiful, looking to be made of cheap paper.**** As for the "sanitizing", what?!?! I previously had a Panda dryer about the same size, and I loved it. It lasted 6 years of good service. The controls were simple knobs with adequate choices. I tried to get another just like it, but they'd moved the controls to the bottom. I have to put my dryer on the floor to keep from blocking a window. I will contact To sun to find out my options. *****Update: part of the problem with wrinkles and slow drying is: only 1 " fin" to tumble clothes. Never seen a dryer with less than 2.
