They are larger than they appear. The dryer is the size of a household dishwasher. For apartments, it is great, both are standard household 110v outlets, hookup in bathroom sinks can be difficult, for the kitchen, just unscrew your faucet aerator ( the little thing on the faucet shalf where the water comes out). Sometimes the rubber washer for your aerator will get stuck. Make sure to pull it out . Then in the little bag, there is a silver adapter that has threads on it and a rubber washer. " Gently " screw it into where the areator was. One it is snug, gently tighten with a pair of pliers, then take the white hose and screw it onto the water inlet on the back of the washing machine. Snug it up with pliers also , then plug the other end into the adapter, note the outside ring push it down, and it will plug in just fine.. To turn it on, you have to press the red button every time, the washer will default to normal load. The other settings, well, you need a magnifying glass to read the booklet. Note these are not made to wash a comforter. I did do a light blanket by itself in the washer and dryer, it was just fine. The only con I can find is that they did not come with wheels. So you may want to purchase a separate cart or caddy for the washer. The dryer does NOT come with a vent hose, so that maybe a extra cost. I hope this helps. ... show more

Does not connect to a standard house water inlet, does not include a basic connection to what should be standard, the description does not openly state that it does not connect to a standard water inlet. And its two different connections to “kitchen and bathroom faucets” don’t fit the ones in my house, I’ve just bought a waste of space that can’t accept water from any faucet in my house. ... show more

    • DRYER IS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT

so ive had this washer/dryer set for about 3 months now. i wanted to wait before i wrote my reivew because i was just really excited that i didnt have to go to the laundry mat. i was told the dryer wasnt really great. the dryer is actually great. you have to brush out the lint from the wheel in the back each time, but i'd rather do that then go to the laundrymat. it's really not that difficult. i have a non-disposable lint brush and it works great. i purchased a stackable shelf for this and a rolling cart to move the washer over to the sink. i could have bought a longer hose but its easy enough to move to the sink. it drinks into the sink but make sure you pay attention because it drains with a lot of power. the drain hose needs to be secured when it drains into the sink. i love this washer/dryer set and cannot believe it came for under 400$. the dryer did NOT arrive at the same time but it did arrive about a week later. the company was also responsive when i got worried it was lost. this feels like a lucky find. im able to wash bed sheets and blankets. im a single guy and this is perfect for me and my dog. if there were more stars for this product, i would give it more. it deserves it. ... show more

Compact for small spaces. Works great for its small size. Washer can only use cold water unless it is connected to a kitchen faucet. I like it better than my full sized set. The dryer is small and connects to a standard plug in. It does take a long time to dry since it only gets very warm. I can only dry one pair of jeans at a time. You could put more in if you want to pull clothes out and fluff them. Works great in my salon. ... show more
