This is a good barstool. The items came packaged carefully (in clear plastics and bubble wrapped) in a big box. It actually came a few days earlier than the estimated delivery date. The only thing that might be just a solitary incident, the package did not come with assembly instruction. I actually had to check YouTube for assembly instructions for similar models. Make sure you remove the black plastic coverings before you put the chair and sit on it. The black covering is to protect the suspension part of the chair. This item will be shipped by UPS, though, and this is a medium size box. So, if they can't leave your item or have no access to your front door, use a different shipping address. This chairs look nice and my bar. My son put them together and he said it wasn't difficult. Only thing I would say, don't touch them with greasy hands because the grease becomes very visible but it does wipe off.

Very easy to assemble. You can do it without the aid of another person. All the tools that you need for assembly come with the item. The chairs are perfect height. On the contrary, if you are looking for condo and stability, and you are on the โ€œlarger sideโ€, this may not be the item for you.

Follow the instructions! In my excitement, I forgot to removed that little black cap from the lifting part on the first chair. So when I sat on it, the plastic cracked inside, and now I have to dig it out or take it apart when I have the energy! So what I have until then is a working bar stool with a lift, and one "sort of a high chair". LOL I needed a chair like this while I'm doing food prep, and it wasn't much more to buy 2 than just 1.
