This beautiful vanity arrived five days early, and it's an incredible value for the price. Elegant, solidly constructed, and one of the easiest furniture assembly projects I've ever done. All the most intricate pieces come pre-assembled, it's just a matter of attaching them to each other, mainly with bolts and an Allen key. The legs and the mirror frame/supports all appear to be solid wood. The drawer and tabletop panels are MDF instead, but it's very good quality particle board. The spray stain coat is luminous and even, so much so that I didn't notice at first that there was no veneer. The flat surfaces and rounded edges are impeccable. There is some vinyl along the right-angled pieces, but any minor nicks or finish irregularities I found along the edges were easily touched up by a burgundy Sharpie (or you can use a cherry-colored wood marker). If you use the marker on these spots before you assemble the pieces, they will fade into shadow and be practically invisible. There were just two very minor parts of the assembly that confused me: 1. There are a ton of extra washers; don't worry about them. The only ones you really need are the solid round ones, small and large. You will use the large washers and the second-largest bolts for leg attachment on both the table and the bench. 2. The only parts that go on with screws are the lower three drawer fronts. The screw holes are vertically off-center, so I recommend turning the drawer fronts so that the holes will be closer to the top. The pre-marked screw holes are barely there, but you can still use a screwdriver rather than a drill. I recommend taking a hammer and nail to gently deepen those holes before putting in the screws. I am usually a bit OCD with the wood glue and extra reinforcements, but I did not use a drop of glue this time, and I have zero concerns about its durability. I may even keep the instructions in case I ever move, since I think I could take this baby apart completely without it taking any damage. I bought this for myself because I needed something small for my very small bedroom. It fits perfect! It also looks very nice once put together. WhiIe I was putting it together it was a little questionable because it does look a little flimsy. However, once put together it seems sturdy enough. The stool is nice as well. I am small, so I fit on it well. Some suggestions I have is to read the manual very well before starting and to study the diagram pictures. Take your time with it. I did it a little too fast at first and messed up on some steps. The directions are not very clear, mostly because all you have is pictures to go by. It took me two hours to put it together and that includes the time I messed up and had to go back. Another suggestion is to get little liners or covers for inside the drawer because it is felt and you may not want your make up to spill on it. It would be hard to clean. Overall I am satisfied with the product. It is a nice investment. ... show more

The instructions were a bit odd as some of the hardware received didn't match up with the instructions, but it assembled well. After reading some reviews I was worried,as I had already placed the order. After putting it together ( took about 2 hours) I was very Happy. I bought this for my 16yr old daughter,who's about 180lbs. The seat was perfect size for her and very sturdy actually.The actuall size of the vanity was larger than I had expected and the drawers are roomy and big enough for all her makeup (imagine a whole makeup isle at walmart!)Overall I'm happy with the quality of this purchase. Came quite quickly also! Edited;A YEAR LATER Going on a little over a year with this product now. The vanity itself still looks great,has held up to the constant use of a teenaged girl,..The seat fared a bit worse. I can't really say if it fell apart due to quality issues but my best guess would be it's more likely the fact that I'm the one who put it together. It lasted about 6 months and I feel like if she would of told me the legs started to get wobbly before they broke completely it would of lasted much longer with periodic re-tightening of the bolts. So Im still VERY happy with it. Its kept her ever growing makeup collection going from Wal-Mart straight to her bedroom vanity instead of going into and onto every inch of my bathroom counters! I've now had this vanity for about 6 months and I absolutely love it. It wasn't difficult to assemble. I was worried it wouldn't be able to hold my vast collection but it comes close. I'm able to fit organizers on either drawer and fit about 15 palettes in-between. The drawers are also pretty roomy as well but only big enough for small palettes. I just keep foundation, lashes, eyeliners, mascara and brow products in mine. This vanity is cute and fairly sturdy. The paint isn't the greatest; as it's not actual wood but particle board painted to look like wood and has been scratched a couple of times. But for the price, I love it. The stool is also nice. And quite comfortable. Anyone who is worrying this is too small, I'm 5'6" 135 pounds and it fits me perfectly. ... show more

I thought i would save some money and purchase a very good condition resale of this vanity. All the crucial pieces were in the box however one of the sides for the mirror was of course broken. Luckily it was something tht I could tape up and continue putting up the vanity. They did include info in case i need a part replaced so I'll be sending tht in. But I was so excited to build this up for my daughter and it was such a hassle to get it since the post office said it was too heavy to deliver to my door I did not feel like sending it back. After setting up I noticed one of the drawers was sticking out just a little but no biggie for me. Overall it was really easy to set up. It's pretty and a great addition to her room. But instead of saving a few dollars I'll go with a brand new item and save some hassle instead. ... show more
