True reviews will depend on longevity. Being a sand and dune wheeler, I was a bit annoyed when my first off road trip to the mountains, ripped my whips right off my vehicle. So I bought these as a replacement to use on my trip to Ahtanum Washington national forest or the desert during epic night rides. I have been searching Amazon periodically for the “branded version” without success, when my search returned with almost identical product at a $300 less. I will say that I am very happy with my purchase on the first Night. These are not ideal during day use. Set your expectations accordingly. Aircraft will be able to see you during the night. Plug and play for 229. Can't really beat the price. They illuminate well, but it's hardly visible during the day. If you visibility in the day go get regular whip lights Cons: I do not like the standard plug. There is a little bug, which is the direction it needs to be plugged in. It's hard to see, directions don't mention it, and it's hard to tell if you slid it in correctly the first time. Do not force it, it will bend the pins and your lights will end up with various colors working. I think RC could make a better 5 prong connection, either using plastic connectors or redesigning the connector to make it idiot proof. Other than that, lights are amazing. ... show more

I bought these a couple months ago, I had them installed on my sxs and love them. Bright and look great at night. 2 weeks ago, i noticed condensation on one of the lenses. I contacted rough country concerning the issue. The rep confirmed my purchase and without any questions said, I will ship you a new set. Two days later they arrived. I understand when you produce tens of thousands of products there are going to be issues at time.
