UPDATE(original review below): I kept the original review just for illustration purposes to the amazing customer service I received. As you can tell, I had major issues with these lights. The team responded quickly to my concern. Instead of a return, I opted for a different set, in this case, the double bright version 8 piece. First off… when they say double bright? THEY MEAN DOUBLE BRIGHT. I get full daytime brightness and the turn signals work. The customer service team gave me tips on wiring etc. to make sure everything worked. The replacement was VERY quick. They said 4-5 days and it was here in 2. The only issue I still have that I *kind of* solved was with my brake light. It seems that for some reason it’s just not getting enough power, either from the bike or the wiring (German engineering is so exact and perfect on the S1K). To get around this for now, I installed a relay that would send battery power straight to the LED lights to get the full red brake light look. I did order some 104 capacitors and a diode to try that as well but we’ll see. Other than that, the lights are phenomenal and ridiculously bright. I would get them again. I bought it for the functionality and that’s what I got for the most part, whether it’s day or night. Good for safety. ORIGINAL REVIEW: There are a lot of issues with this kit. I have a BMW S1000rr (2014) and here is what I’ve found: 1. The lights flicker, even on a full battery above 13.5v and solid connections 2. No labeling on the left or right side. 3. Adhesive is barely there. 4. I have the rainbow effect on, and turn signals barely show, flicker once when the signal is received, then go back to normal. They don’t stay blinking. 5. Turn signal color is WAY off. Like it shows the underlying rainbow effect and the lights don’t actually change to amber 6. The same goes for the tail light, it just tints the current color of the rainbow to a different color. 7. No instructions 8. No splicing kit included. 9. I took off the nighlight kit to install this one. The nighlight is brighter, simpler to install and DOESNT FLICKER. 10. This is all done on 12v output going to the signals and brake light. 11. Instructions in the box were for an older design and not for this kit. No instructions for what app to get, or for what the remote buttons do. Currently, I kind of regret spending hours installing this. I took off a perfectly working system with nighlight because I wanted brake lights and turn signals. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to connect with the sellers.

This is a very nice LED light set up. I've used others for a different bike, different style lights. Upon opening the kit, I was impressed in what was in it, 2 remotes, wire ties, fuses and the quality of the light strips. I have a 2015 Dyna FatBob and my intention was just to mount the lights under the tank on both sides just to give a glow over the engine. The strips fit perfect because the inner part of the tank, that you don't see, is curved so when mounting you don't see the strips. The brain has several wires which includes wires for directionals, brake, and Power Saving wiring which I questioned after reading the directions. Says the White wire connects to the yellow ignition wire for Power Save which made me believe that if you don't hook it up, they will draw on the battery. All of these wires are optional and I couldn't find the yellow wire so I didn't use it. The red power wire has a "kill switch" attached and a fuse and the wire is long. So I figured I would just use the kill switch instead of the white wire. Attached to the Brain are 2 connection wires (plugs) and in the box there are 2 sets of connection wire pigtails with 4 plugs. So you plug each light strip into the plug, these light do not connect in a train style and they only give you 2 long pigtail extensions but the wires on the brain and the wires on the light strip themselves are pretty long. I opted to use 1 plug off the brain and run 2 lights under the tank but then saw a spot for the rear of the bike and that the wires were long enough. So I ran 2 to the back of the bike. The hardest part of this install was running the wires from the battery because the Dyna only has a 5" x "5 opening under the seat. Took about 1.5 hrs to fish everything thru and it worked really well, only had to use 3 wire ties. As you can see in the pic, you can see the light strip under the rear frame, not sure if I like that and will decide if I keep it there along with the 2nd one in front of the rear tire. The 3m tape works very well and it's easy to stick on but I also used a loctite 60 second glue on the ends and 1 dot in the middle of the strip for extra hold. I also used a heat gun to heat up the area and to heat up the lights strips themselves because they are curved out of the box for packaging. I mounted the kill switch on the passenger side batter cover box where I can just reach down and turn them off and on to kill power. The small remote is very nice and I like that there's a slide cover over the buttons. You slide it down to expose the 4 buttons for use. The 2nd remote is larger and shows all the functions. Both work great. I opted to keep that one in my saddlebag. You can shut power off on both remotes, but here where that Power Saving question comes in. If you don't use the kill switch, and shut the lights off with the remote, I believe it stills drains the battery because mine did. So I just use the kill switch but I'm going to test it shutting it off with the remote and not touching the kill switch. It does have an app and I might use it. The lights are bright, several color options that look nice. Hoping this unit lasts. Price point for 8 lights is ok, especially with 2 remotes, app, and brake light wire. I will update with more pics

Great product. Easy and straightforward, I’m new to bikes and just got a Yamaha R3 2025 Luna White. Added a LED mod kit to make it look cool, But to also be brighter and safer on the road. LED quality is fantastic, And well lit. It did take around 2-3 hours of work to install. And it was hard work. But an easy process. Cable managing was easy, Just took a while. It simple and straightforward, Easy to Install, Just time consuming. And a great mod for Newer/Advanced motorcyclist to look cool and safer. Would highly recommend to anyone

Will need to know and locate Bike Manufacturer's brake and L/R turn signal wire colors to use brake and turn signal features, and you'll want to have some T or positap connectors (3) and wire crimp tool before starting. Also, if you aren't 100% sure of placement, you'll need to replace the 3M adhesive as it's a single contact adhesive. Very happy with the ease of connections, remote(s) 2 + 1 Free Android/IOS App Download (Works with my iphone) Colors, functionality, adhesive LED Flexibility & Strip Backing are all excellent. The installation takes time, but Moreso planning on how and where to best route the wiring and choosing where to best place the strips. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that both of the 2 LED branches (With 4 leads each) are subject to turn and or brake feature, if using this feature. Meaning if connecting the turn or brake triggers, it applies to all of Connected light strips. Would have like the option of 4 signal/brake lights, and 4 that didn't. Due to this I will likely either A. Disconnect the brake trigger feature or buy a second kit and not wire the triggers in order to add in places I don't want or need changing when braking or signaling. Overall great build quality, and a good value at this price point.

I've had a set installed on my Yamaha Fz6r for almost a year now and have a second set I need to install on my Triumph Thunderbird. I also put a set on a friend's Ninja. I'm overall satisfied and would recommend this as a mildly inexpensive option. My biggest concern in the long term will be the adhesive and heat resistance. Pros: -relatively easy install -good brightness (not during the day) -remote works from a decent distance away -the adhesive is holding pretty good while riding in the louisiana heat -brake wiring option is very responsive Cons: -can't get the app to pair with my phone (Samsung z fold 3) -turn signal option is a little misleading - the signal side turns yellow/amber and blinks while the opposite side turns off -there is about a 2 second delay to revert back to the previous settings after turning off signals -brakes will override turn signal option (still very responsive) -will drain your battery if you don't put in a hard switch or wire into ignition -MAJOR issue: this might be because I'm currently wired directly to the battery, but with the bike off and the factory "hard switch" off, the actual brake light is slightly illuminated and the strips themselves have a very dim red glow. When applying any brake pressure, the brake light goes out entirely and the strips turn a brighter red. You can use the remote to turn off the strips but the brake light remains lit. I plan to replace the factory switch with a rocker switch so I don't have to open the seat every time and I'm hoping that will solve the issue.
