Description

Give your KL Cherokee increased ground clearance and an aggressive look worthy of the Jeep name with Rough Country's 2" Suspension Lift Kit! This 2" kit lifts and levels your vehicle for an improved look and enough ride height to run up to 32" tires with some trimming. Each kit features a set of front and rear spacers made of a durable steel construction. This all-inclusive kit features everything you need to tackle the trails - including a brake line and ABS relocation system that is built directly into the strut spacer, allowing you to retain your factory lines while being kept safely tucked away. This innovative design connects directly into the bracket welded onto the factory strut, ensuring the strut can't pivot to an undesirable angle. Rough Country's 2" KL Lift Kit features a bolt-on installation process making it easy to improve the look and performance of your Cherokee. Best of all, each kit includes a Lifetime Replacement! Fitment Notes: This product does NOT fit 2019+ Trailhawk models, 2022 Jeep Cherokee X models, models with aftermarket struts, or models with Active Drive Lock. For AD1 models, it accommodates up to a 245/70R17 tire, while AD2/Trailhawk models can use up to a 255/70R17 tire.

    • Good leveling kit!!
This is not the first leveling kit I bought from Rough Country. I had a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I bought a leveling kit for it from Rough Country so I know that their products are good quality. That leveling kit was on that Grand Cherokee for over 6 years with no issues. This leveling kit for the 2014-2019 Jeep Cherokee was easier to install than than the Grand Cherokee's as I didn't have to disconnect the strut from the wheel hub. This kit is much easier and simpler to install. I had help (from my brother) with the Grand Cherokee's. This one on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, I installed alone. So far the Cherokee is looking good but I'm still waiting on the wheel spacers to give it a balanced look and not look so stilt-like. It should also improve the Cherokee's cornering prowess despite it's elevated stance like the Grand Cherokee did. I would recommend this to anyone who has a Jeep Cherokee KL model.     • Perfect fit on 2021 Trailhawk
My wife and I both bought 2021 Cherokee Trailhawks, and I lifted mine with a slightly higher kit and with hers- we wanted a leveling kit without quite as much height on the rear. This lift is perfect for that. Someone claimed a shop told him that it doesn't work with the electronic steering rack- but the shop apparently made a mistake and is blaming the lift to cover up their mistake. This lift kit works on ANY KL Cherokee. Spacer lifts are simple things, and it doesn't matter if the spacers are "fancy" or simple and there's no reason to pay many times more for a "boutique" branded lift kit- it will simply do the exact same job. Installation is easy, and with a proper spring compressor the rears can be done faster than it takes to remove the rear wheels. Pros: Works on ALL KL Cherokees, including Trailhawks. Inexpensive. Cons: Leveling kit, so you need a thicker spacer to lift the same amount front and rear. ... show more

    • Excellent lift for the new body Jeep Cherokee
First off, I have owned & lifted a Jeep TJ (6”) & XJ (4.5”), along with owning another XJ & WK2 Grand Cherokee. This KL Trailhawk has been one of the most versatile Jeep's I've owned, but even with the 'factory' lift, it still had a bad nose dive and didn't look like a proper trail Jeep should. I read reviews, looked at photos (of Jeeps with this lift) and thought about adding it for almost 2 years while driving my Trailhawk bone-stock. I finally ordered, installed it with a buddy (about 3 hours) and added Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's in OEM 245/65 R17. I didn't want to add a larger tire as this is still my daily driver and I didn't want to kill the MPG's. Since installing the lift, I have noticed MAYBE a .5mpg hit vs stock, so I’m very pleased with the results. Also, by running the lighter weight P rated Falken AT over the almost 10lb per tire heavier LT rated KO2’s, the performance is the same, including Sport mode. Overall, I'm 9.5/10 pleased with this lift and would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to lift their KL. It's definitely not my old XJ with a 4.5" lift, but for 2022, its the best of all worlds and I really enjoy the overall look. The nosedive is gone and it now sits perfectly level. The additional wheel well clearance by keeping the stock 245/65R17’s doesn’t look odd or off at all, and gives me a bit more articulation clearance without rubbing. Don’t chase the MFC lift unless you really want to lift this body style Jeep higher than around 1.5-2” (tires account for some lift). For most people this is the perfect kit to get their Jeep just enough outside of the ‘stock’ look to be different, but not going as far as to ruin the ride or give a lot of premature wear to the drivetrain. Again, I can’t recommend this lift enough and recommend it without question. Should have done it the day I bought the Jeep! ... show more

Kit took me about 4hrs to install by myself. It added 2” to my ride height and allowed me to put 245/70/17’s on for another 1” of height. Just make sure to get an alignment once it’s complete.

The small increase in hight was worth the money. I have a 2020 cherokee and to my understanding it is easy to install. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is cause this lift kit says it will fit a 32 in tire with trimming. This is not true. There is no way a 32 in tire will fit of a 2020 cherokee without having to trim the heck out of the front fenders. At max this kit will fit a 31 in tire. It does fit a 29 in tire really good without any trimming necessary. ... show more

    • Not designed for 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Electronic Steering
As stated above, this is NOT designed for a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with electronic steering. I had it professionally installed and during the front end install the power steering locked up. It may fit older Models, but mine was a waste. Had to modify the sway bar link in order to get power steering back, but my ride is less stable when turning. I've contacted the seller twice, but they never got back to me. Would definitely not recommend this "upgrade" to anyone. The expense at the end is not worth it. ... show more
