It does need a while to charge. But just do it overnight. I got helicopter’s attention with this flashlight they flew around 3-4 times as I flashed them seemed like it discomfort them.

It's amazing how big of a difference good shocks make. These are affordable and do a fantastic job absorbing the bumps and potholes of my northern Minnesota streets. If you're a hardcore offroader, maybe there's better options but these have been well worth it for my daily driver.

    • 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ-Not Long Enough 2.5” Lift
Used on rear of 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ with Skyjacker 2.5” lift springs. These shocks are not long enough for these springs in full droop. These should be used as stock replacements. They are 2”-3” to short extended length for 2.5” lift springs let alone 4” lift. Otherwise they work well for basic stock height aftermarket shock. ... show more

Stiffened up my ride just nicely. Old ones were so shot, wouldn't even expand no more. These are great for the price n have off roaded with them all ready

    • Rough Country rear shocks for 0 to 1.5" lifted vehicle
I wanted a mild lift so I went with the 0 to 4" lift shocks and a slightly longer shackle for about 2" lift and a 2" lift spacer on top of the front coil springs to get my XJ up a few inches above stock. The shocks are slightly longer than the stock shocks to make up for the lift. Just reme.bef to order based on the dash number. A dash 5 shock is for a 5" lift, etc. ... show more

Works great for stock ride height. 3 inches longer at full extension and about 1/2 inch shorter at full compression. I removed my rear sway bar and needed extended shocks for stock ride height (extra droop ripped out my stock shocks) and these fit excellent.

Fake not really rough country and to big that they put to much pressure on the ball joint nut and pin that my ball joint fell out and my front end slams to the ground coming to a complete stop in the middle of the road while driving ,lucky only going 5 mph
