I thought maybe it would be low enough to fit my head a little more like a womans hat. Not so much, its a typical mans sized hat. Which is okay, I still wear it, it will just take extra time to break in. The IFV in the front of the bill, would be better as OIF or not at all.

    • nice price, nice quality, better with correct ribbons
I ordered this hat and wore it proudly at my local VFW. Then I noticed a small problem. The ribbons on the hat are correct in color, and order of precedence. HOWEVER, military member's who have actually put boots on the ground in the OIF area of responsibility are authorized to wear EITHER the Iraqi Freedom Campaign medal or the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (the middle ribbon on the hat), not both. Most (in my humble opinion) will elect to wear the OIF campaign medal instead of the more generic GWOTEM. I did. Anyway, it would be nice if the Iraqi Freedom Veteran Cap came with the OIF medal. Just my opinion. Otherwise, the cap was great, loved wearing it and had no complains until my puppy used it for a chew toy. :-) ... show more

Not sure about the discrepancy on the medals, but I remember my ERB authorized me to wear both medals that are on the hat. They check the ribbon holder for accuracy when you take your DA photo and I remember having both on my ASUs
