The microwave is a nice size for a small space. Love that it is all white, inside and out, blends will in my kitchen. Aesthetics I would rate a 5. Performance and function I rate it a 4. I like the preset options, and it does heat the food completely. Noise/sound I rate it a 2. This is a loud microwave when operating and it kind of hums. I was surprised by how loud it is. I was looking for a small and simple microwave for under $100, and this unit fit the bill nicely. It has a clean appearance with a simple touch panel and is reasonably quiet. In general, I am very happy with this purchase. I like the green clock whose brightness is just right (neither too dim nor too bright), and I love the fact that it does not beep unnecessarily. It beeps 3 times when done with no follow-up beeps. My old microwave beeped 4 times when done and then once every minute thereafter which was really annoying. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed to find that this unit does not offer an express cooking mode meaning that on most microwaves, you can press 1 to 5 to cook for 1 to 5 minutes on high without having to press any other buttons. That was the primary way I used my old microwave, and it was very convenient, so losing that feature is a bummer. One weird thing that I have noticed, is that if you enter a time and press start, you cannot press start again to increase the time. That seems odd since you can press the start button without entering a time and then press it several more times to increase the time in 30 second increments. On my old microwave, I was used to being able to add 30 seconds at any point, so not being able to do that, is a little frustrating. Finally, the packaging left a little to be desired since it doesn't seem to protect the microwave very well. I say that because the first unit arrived with a huge dent in the back of the microwave, so I immediately returned it for a replacement, and when I received the replacement unit, it was also dented albeit not as badly, so I decided to keep it, but the fact that two out of two units were dented seems to indicate that they are not packaged well enough. Of course, that is a manufacturing issue and not a reflection on Amazon. If I had it to do over again, I might purchase a different brand, but for now, it meets my needs, and I am ultimately satisfied with the purchase. Certainly not a 5 star unit, but 4 stars seems fair.

This is an o.k. unit for the money so far. There are two engineering problems. The door latches are extremely tightly fixed so the whole machine moves forward with the force of opening the door. ( I'll have to find some sort of rubber sheeting that hopefully will keep it from shifting forward with the force of opening the door.) Secondly, the glass turntable is precariously set up on a plastic piece that is 1/2 inch elevated. The glass turntable lifts off of it too easily. When I took a dish out, the glass plate came off the plastic piece and had to be reset. It's not stable. In addition, my old microwave that lasted 24 years and I already miss it, had a simple button for heating beverages for two minutes. I used my microwave 80% of the time just to reheat coffee or water. Easy peasy. This one does not have that feature. If you're looking for an inexpensive uknit that just does the job, this is it. But it has some problems in its design. However, if you want a high end unit, pass on this. Update: Another flaw. There is a laminate plastic cover on the control panel. It has bubbled up and is starting to peel off. Won't get this brand of microwave again. :(

The media could not be loaded. The light fixture on the unit is done backwards in that the light comes on when the oven is cooking but the light doesnโt come on when you open the door. I had to look on Amazon to see if there was a light that I could attach to the door that would shine into the oven body and of course Amazon has everything and I got a small motion sensor battery operated light bar to attach to the door that shines into the body of the oven when I open the door and turns off within 30 seconds after I close the door. I used little Velcro dots to attach the light to the top of the oven door.

I'm quite happy with this little microwave. It does take a little longer than my old one, which I expected since it's a bit lower wattage, but it takes up way less space and looks sleek. It's very simple and intuitive to use. My only complaint is that there's no way to disable the beeping feature.

We don't use a microwave very much --boiling water for tea, defrosting frozen English Muffins and Eggos for toasting, and other small cooking needs. This is a great, small, very functional microwave that doesn't take up much room. I particularly like that it opens with a handle instead of a push-button mechanism.
