Works for holding a single keyboard, to small for mouse with a numpad board(known before buying). I’m not sure I’d be comfortable using a mouse on it though, worry downward pressure to one side from intense mouse use could cause issues with this being center mounted. If you plan to use this primarily for a keyboard it’s a good choice if you have the real estate and flat stable edge to mount on, wish a similar longer design was available, but that I’m not sure would be possible with a single mount point. ... show more

I bought a very compact computer desk without thinking about how a typical add-on keyboard tray might fit - none would. I figured a tray with a single clamp would bounce and be a constant irritant, but this is working perfectly.

    • Almost Perfect But Does Almost Count?

I was so excited when I found this product after several minutes long Amazon searches. The concept allowing the keyboard tray to swivel without requiring any installation using screws or drills was exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to assemble; it took about 5 minutes. The issue is that the C-clamp and the knob are so long that I can't use my chair at the desired height because the keyboard tray is so low, so I can't scoot under the desk (or tray) to a comfortable level. I understand that the length of the C-clamp provides maximum versatility for desk thickness of various sizes, but then you also have the knob below the C-clamp used to tighten the tray on to the desk, but it adds probably another 2+ inches to the length of the C-clamp. If the tray tilted or could be raised that would probably help, but since the primary feature of this tray is to swivel, then maybe the knob should be made smaller or removable (i.e., only attachable for the purpose of screwing on the tray and then removing when done). The tray could also be a little bit wider. I'm trying my best to work with this tray though, so I attached it closer to the left side than directly in the middle of the desk to give me a little more flexibility with the chair position but I still had to make my chair height lower (also undesirable). I'm also wondering if an attachable mouse tray would help, although I'm not the most excited about spending more money for keyboard/mouse trays. ... show more

Finally, a keyboard tray that works for me! I had to place the keyboard tray a little off center so that I could rotate it under my desk but it works perfectly. It's sturdy so I don't have to worry about the keyboard bouncing about. Plus my mouse fits next to my keyboard with room to spare. I had no problems installing it. Simply attached the keyboard tray to the metal part with screws. Make sure you turn the metal part so that the section to be screwed down is flat on the keyboard surface. Tools were included. Attaching it to the desk was just as easy. Total installation time was under 5 minutes. ... show more

I have a desk that’s 2.4”, and most under tray only works for thinner desk less than 2 inche. finding one for my thick desk was hard but I found this product! Super easy to install (I did in about 2 minutes), and it feels sturdy so far. Spinning the tray in and out is very smooth as well. Another thing is - No smell! Most products sitting in warehouse waiting for shipment have a smell but this doesn’t. Overall, great piece. I’m happy I found something for my thick desk lol. ... show more

    • I don’t recommend this, esp for the price
I was eyeing the lower models but figured I’d splurge for this one since it offers a swivel and presumably some articulation. Unfortunately it’s incredibly limited. The swivel is nice as it tucks away fully beneath the desk but the arm doesn’t extend far enough nor is does it angle appropriately or ergonomically. It’s a shame because there aren’t many clampable keyboard extenders but considering it’s price I was expecting more thought put into the product ... show more
