I bought this bowl to replace one of a set that I broke. I was glad to see that the new bowl matches the old ones in shape and quality. Also, the color is much richer than it appeared in the online image so the red is not exactly the same color as the old bowl, but we actually like this color better

I’ve used Rosti Margrethe bowls for years-purchased my first set 30 years ago when it was the brand Williams-Sonoma carried for melamine mixing bowls. I still have 2 items from that purchase in regular use; granted, the rubber grip bottoms are pretty dehydrated/cracked, but that’s pretty good for countless dishwashings. WS’s house brand melamine mixing bowls break at the 1st drop; Rosti are much more durable. I’m not easy on my bowls (as in I use them all the time), but these always look good enough to serve casually from (think outdoor dining). I’ve never picked up a stain, and all my bowls are white.. This small mixing bowl is perfect for mixing up a box of muffins. I recently used it for making meringue. It’s lightweight but sturdy. It doesn’t slip around on the counter since there’s a bit of grip on the bottom. Dishwasher safe, so easy to clean.
