Review of Rösle fine kitchen tweezers. I was sick and tired of loosing small veggies through the grate of my grill that's when I discovered kitchen tweezers. They give me the dexterity to turn individual green beans or asperigus and as an added bonus enable me to pick off choice little bits of meat left behind after turning meat on the grill. The tips of the tweezer are designed make contact at the very top, making it great for very fine food like herbs, much like traditional small tweezers. However they will not be effective at work like pulling bones on salmon. I would have preferred a broader area of contact between the two grip areas of the tongs instead of just the tip. I could not justify deducting a star for this issue but be aware. They have a nice style and are much less "clinical" looking as my wife put it than other pair of kitchen tweezers I own. I primarily grill with tweezers now but, I have cooks hands desensitized to high heat and some may prefer longer handled tongs to avoid knuckles getting singed. ... show more

These tongs are so nice. I got them as a birthday present for myself and they have absolutely been worth it. They are easy to use, and great to grip salmon or heavier items in my non-stick pans while keeping them from being scratched up.

Before I bought these silicone tips tongs, I specifically looked over all the questions and answers posted to see if the silicone tips were removable and the answer was posted as a yes. So based on this posted information I went ahead and bought them. I wanted to have the flexibility to use them with and without the silicone tips as needed. When I received the tongs I discovered that the tips are permanently fixed to the tongs...disappointed honestly because they cost so much money. The quality is great though...I will contact the supplier if I can find a way on this page to explore options before I decide to return them or keep them. ... show more
