I love this whisk! Wish that I had had it years ago. I'm a bit of a whisk fanatic, and I use whisks all the time for everything. I whisk rather than use mixers, and have many different whisks, most of them Rosle. This is the first time that I have used a spiral whisk like this. It works fabulously, and I especially use it to whisk/stir sauces in pans. It whisks very thoroughly, stays low, and doesn't splatter, and effortlessly gets into the corners/sides of the pan, so it whisks far more thoroughly than other types of whisks. I was a little hesitant to purchase it, because Rosle is now made in China. My other Rosle utensils (most of my kitchen utensils are Rosle) were purchased about 25 years ago, when they were still made in Germany. Now they are made in China, so I wasn't sure how it would compare. I was thrilled with the quality of this particular item. My 25 year old Rosle utensils are as good as the day I bought them. I use them on a daily basis, but I do take very good care of them. This whisk is easy to clean, as long as you give it a quick rinse right after use, before things dry on it. Wonderful product. I bought this one as a gift, and got my original in Paris. While this is intended as a whisk for making sauces, I use it (and have for years) as a general all-purpose whisk. Cannot praise this product highly enough. It's nice and heavy, balances in your hand, and does a much better job than any whisk I've had before. It's also easy to clean, even though it might not look it -- I generally just run hot water over it after I'm done (and it never gets tangled, like other similar whisks do). This is the same brand I got in Paris as well. It's an excellent product. A little pricey, but I've been looking around in the states for it for a few years, and only recently thought I'd try Amazon. Glad I did. PS I've had this for about 3 years now, if not longer, and no rust so far! ... show more

This is a super high quality whisk that I use all the time. It just makes so much more sense than the “typical” whisk. All the action is at the bottom of the bowl or pan with this one. I have the little one, too - which is great for salad dressings, a couple scrambled eggs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
