Writing this review since there’s a lot of reviews where people got the product for free- I purchased this to try and did not get this for free. This rose water came fresh, smelling lovely like fresh roses. Some rose waters smell so fragrant that it almost smells like there’s been something added to make it so. This one smells like its pure and distilled rose water. A lot of rose waters purchased from Amazon come rancid… probably because its not being stored properly at the warehouse, plus a lot of the rose waters I’ve gotten in the past from Amazon do not have seals on the lid, which makes me question whether I should even put the stuff on my face/hair. As soon as I received this package, I inspected the bottle for anything floating in it (there wasn’t) and for its smell. It was perfectly packaged in an amber glass bottle with a sealed lid, a spray and a dropper. Its fragrance is delightful. Spraying it on my face is so refreshing and definitely helps with soothing and calming my skin. I have very sensitive skin, acne prone and eczema. In my experience, pure rose water isn’t very moisturizing- its more an astringent that reduces excess oil, helps to purify and calm down skin and creates a tightness feeling. This is how this particular rose water made me feel and it definitely feels legit. Prior to purchasing, I looked through the USDA organics government website to search for this company. Its not listed. So this company/product isn’t actually USDA certified, but apparently companies are able to state USDA certified on their logos if the ingredients are USDA certified, even if the company/product is not (don’t know the legality of this). That feels like false advertising to me and I see a lot of products do this on Amazon, but for the price of this ($7.99), I thought it’d give it a try since I could return it if it ended up sucking :P Definitely keeping it and may purchase more in the future. I’m currently waiting on a USDA certified organic rose water from Mountain Rose Herbs to see how that one works out- that company and product is actually listed in the .gov website, so if their rose water is fresh, I’ll be getting it from them instead :) for now, this rose water definitely gets the job done!

I use this for a few different reasons. My sons dreadlocks, to set my makeup, as a toner and refresher. Really good product so far. Nice full spray mist. Smells good too.

First, make sure you're looking for rose water and NOT the oil. This is the rosewater. With that being said, it has a lovely lightly scented rose scent to it, not overpowering at all. It's a great makeup remover and facial toner. I do find that if I happen to use a waterproof mascara or eyeliner, this won't cut it, but it does remove regularly eyeliner and other facial products. After using it on your face, it does feel "fresh" and "glowy" and I would continue to use as I like the way it feels. I wouldn't call this a moisturizer, per se, but more of a light refresher. In a pinch, you can also use it as room or clothing refresher spray but I mainly use it for cosmetic purposes. The fact that it's cruelty free, non GMO, and vegan is major icing on the cake. I'm happy with it!
