It is really hard for me to find boots, and even harder to find reasonably priced boots that are not made in China. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe and purchase these boots 10 wide. I haven’t worn boots for many many years and I have pretty bad bunions these fit perfectly, and only took a few days to break in because the leather is pretty soft. The pair I received were made in India. The stitching seems good, and the soles are thick and made of rubber. Time will tell how long they last for under $100 I am very pleased ... show more

These boots are excellent. They have already taken a beating and with a little beeswax have maintained their rich color. They only took a couple of days to break I'm. Great fit. The rubber sole makes them excellent work boots in the shop. Would definitely buy again when the time comes.

I have worn these for a while. Decided to try square toes and see what the fuss was about. I wish I had tried these a decade ago. No squished toes, no blisters. I just cut and split firewood for 7 hours in these boots in snow up to my mid shin. These boots aren’t waterproof but kept my feet dry until the last hour. I was wearing wool socks with these and in 17°F my feet had no problem staying warm and dry even though these aren’t really designed for that lifestyle.
