This was purchased for my daughter prior to her going away to college. Her first year, she had her bed lofted in her dorm room. She attached this shelf to one end of her bed. She could put her glasses and cell phone on it at night. If she wanted to, she could put a cup of water in the cup holder as well. This year, although her bed is not lofted, she attached it to the end of her bed again. She puts her glasses and phone on it at night. When she decides to sit on her bed to work, she can put small things on the shelf, place a cup in the cup holder, etc. It is easy to install and sturdy. It has been a great purchase.

I have a sleigh bed and it fits perfectly on the bedframe. I bought it for recovery after surgery. It folds down easily. The hooks and the pencil cup are handy. Once I forgot to "lock" the drawer and when I folded it down, the drawer fell out. Lesson learned - I won't forget that again. I don't put anything heavy on it, but it frees up space on my bedside table for the heavier stuff. Good product for the price!

Bought this for my son when he went off to college and he loves it! It is pretty sturdy and folds up easily so it’s not in the way when not in use.

The unit is well built and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the metal frame bed. I had to build a shim to make it fit. If the installation screws were longer, it would fit with out any extra trouble.

I use this on one end of my daybed or the other, or sometimes put it on the backrest. It's a wooden frame all around, so I easily move it from time to time. I like that it folds down, although I rarely use that feature. When I do, the drawer sometimes pops out, more from handling it than from component failure. I rarely have anything in the drawer, anyway. I wish the cup holder was closer to the back than the front so the drink wouldn't be in the way. I also wish it was easier to clean in the little "wood grain" grooves. It's a good addition and space saver for use in my RV.
