I became the resident barber 20+ years ago. That led into regular haircuts too. Now, I have about 20 heads I cut a month. This isn't my profession, I just enjoy making people look and feel good. I love to collect tools to make that easier, but I've learned that not all scissors are the same. You buy cheep, you get cheep results. This set is actually quite affordable, especially for 2 shears and a nice case. I thought they would be middle of the road, so was I ever suprised when I tested these the first time. These are AMAZING! What a bargain! These are now my "go to" scissors for all of my scissors cuts! ☆The scissors and texturing scissors come secure in a nice, faux leather zipper case. They also included a key so you can easily make adjustments to the tension of the shears. I've only had 1 other pair come with a key and they were $140! ☆Both scissors have a nice weight to them and are comfortable in the hand. Both come with removable finger loops, so you can get the best fit for you. ☆These are crazy sharp! They have a semi-convex edge blade that cuts so smooth and so easy. ☆Truly high quality stainless, these don't rust or corrode at all. ●It's worth noting that, due to the position on the pinky rest, these are made for a right handed person. ♡Im just blown away at how beautiful this set is. Excellent quality and easy to use, this is a wonderful scissors set! (And, a bargain price!)

I like how this set settles in the hand/fingers - it's comfortable. Kinda a odd thing to say about scissors, but if you've ever had to handle ill "fitting" scissors for an extended period of time, you know what I'm talking about rubbing the hand and fingers the wrong way or having to use them awkwardly to avoid sore spots created by ill fitting grips. Definitely will need to be sharpened more frequently then your higher end precision styles, but these are priced just right for getting the job done.

My wife of 20+ years has been cutting my hair and the hair of my three sons for the past fifteen years or so. She lines us up one at a time every two or three weeks in the garage, fires up the clippers and scissors, and freshens us up one at a time assembly line style. She’s talented and frugal and her efforts save us hundreds of dollars per year. I’ve asked for many years if I could buy her a “real” pair of barber shears, to which she always says she’s fine right the ones that come with the electric clippers we replace once every other year or so, and she doesn’t want anything that fancy for such simple tasks. Well I finally brought these home to her without permission, and she loves them. Good weight, silky smooth cutting action and the kids and I look great. She says they cut like nothing she’s ever used before, and that I should have done this long ago. Paha, yep, my bad there darlin. So her non-professional opinion based on about 70 cuts a year for the past 15 years or so is five gold stars.

I always cut my own hair, and prior to receiving this set I've been using just a standard pair of multipurpose scissors. The difference that I experienced in the quality of the cut while using these shears was immediate. The stainless steel blades are sharp and provide a quick and clean cut. A second pair of thinning shears is included, which I'll never be able to use because my hair is thin enough, however other family members tell me that they are of high quality and work better than expected. I would not say that they feel comfortable in my hand, probably due to the arthritis in my fingers, however the finger ring size is much smaller than other scissors that we have in our home. That being said, I am still able to cut my hair easier and quicker than ever before, and I consider these shears to be of the highest quality compared to any others that I've used before.

I am in no way, shape, or form a stylist, but I just wanted some decent cutting shears for my curtain bangs. I know that quality shears can be 100s of dollars, but for the price, these are great and precise. The case they come in is nice as well. They feel heavy, are sharp, and so far work for what I need them for.

The finger holes are way too small, and I'm Korean, so I don't know who this is made for. They look nice and feel great, but I can't use them unless I shave down my phalanges, but I can't afford to do that surgery right now, so these are rendered unfit for my stature. If you're small, like a doll, you might like these Korean shears.

We have two young boys, and my wife and I cut their hair as they both had meltdowns when we tried taking them to actual stylists. We've been relying on a nice trimmer and a subpar pair of scissors to clean the remainder for a few years now. So, upgrading to these just blew us away. The ease with which they cut their thick hair is incredible. Straight lines are a cinch, along with adding some texture using the other scissors in this kit. They have a nice weight to them and the stainless steel shines every so brightly. The included case even comes with a small (pictured) adjustment tool if you need it. Very well done!
