I was in the market for a new roller, preferably metal, since I’ve cracked my share of the cheap plastic ones sold in smoke shops. This one is sturdy and rolled a perfect ciggie on the first try. That said, I am very familiar with how these work, so I didn’t have the issues voiced by some of the other reviewers. It did take me a minute to figure out how to open the lid and feed the paper. I also found that it was much easier to use if you put it flat on a table, rather than holding it. The cloth inside is slippery, which causes the filter to scoot around a little when packing the leaves, but I am sure that will get better with use. Overall, I strongly recommend this for anyone that rolls and is looking for a machine that won’t snap in half at an inopportune time! If you aren’t familiar with rolling and want to start, have patience and take a look at the video posted in one of the product answers. Once you get the hang of it, you will be glad you choose this product. ... show more

    • Probably fine for very thin rolls, otherwise falls apart.
Worked great for a few months of rolling once a day, until it broke . I bought metal to avoid breaking but the cylinders are plastic and snapped. Also the plastic sheet started to tear at the seam around the same time. Lastly, the pins started to come out nearly every time I rolled but would push them back in. ... show more

Comes apart after a short period of time. The plastic RAW hemp rollers are less than half the price and do a better job/lasts much longer.

    • Just learn how to roll
Very stupidly built and not quite simple to use. Do yourself a favor and just learn how to roll, or if you're like me and looking for that after shower slippery fingers solution - just get the raw roller, it seems a lot easier to handle without the stupid lid on the top
