  • Works Good
I roll my own cigs and noticed I lost a lot of tobacco right into the cigarette case. I tried sealing my cigs manually but seeing as I'm rolling for my wife as well it was tedious to say the least. You can do it your own way but my setup is a regular cookie sheet pan that I place on the coffee table when I get set to roll In the cookie sheet I have a Hawkmatic roller on the right with this little puppy sitting on the left hand side . I keep my tubes on my right, slip a tube on the roller fill the hopper on the Hawkmatic and start rolling. Once I get about 20-30 cigs rolled I use this finisher. It takes maybe 2 seconds per cig and does spit some tobacco out into the cookie sheet ( but that's why it's there to catch all that) when I'm done I just use a brush similar to a makeup brush to recycle the tobacco back into the bag and we're good to go. It is a little noisy but unless you are running the thing for an hour I don't think it's enough to be annoyed about. Takes about 1 minute to finish a pack of cigs and now there's very little tobacco lost in the pack and no hot ashes falling out of the cigarette in my vehicle. Overall I would highly recommend this product for this purpose. ... show more

  • Great finishing move for your smokes!
This works great seals up the end of your cigarette perfectly, no more tobacco bits everywhere.. I saw someone on here made a container for it out of a lunch meat container good idea works perfectly, I put an eyelet grommet on the front to guide it perfectly, put one on back too so I can unplug it for cleaning, choose a container with a see through top helps alot l... I also cut a small square on top to turn on and of easily... Highly recommend you get one mine is great! Update: 10/14/25: If it starts making a loud squelching noise just add a couple drops of oil or a small squirt of WD-40 holding the machine upright right under the nodule I included a picture of where to oil I did that and my machine runs smooth like it's on ice, great product! I've included an extra picture with an arrow pointing the spot that I owed at just make sure to hold upright give it a little squirt wipe any excess oil off machine and let it run for 20 seconds noise gone! ... show more

  • This Leaf Only cigarette finisher is really great, It does what it's supposed to do.
Wow ! this Leaf Only cigarette finisher is really great, I should have had it years ago. Glad I found it, I wasn't sure if it was going to workout but I figured I would try it, Glad I did. I don't know why some people are saying it is noisy, the one I got is very quiet. The way I process my cigarettes is, I inject the tobacco in the tube with my Powermatic 4+, which has been a great machine for over 2 years, Powermatic 2+ before that. (I just ordered a Powermatic 3+ it will be here next week) It leaves a little bit of tobacco sticking out the end , then I pull a little bit of that out , tap the filter end three or four times to pack it down, then I pinch the ends over so tobacco won't fall out. Now with this finisher after I inject the tobacco in the tube I pull the little bit out of the end then , just stick it in the finisher, no need to pack it down , it makes a great cigarette every time. There is no worries about any mess, I have my machine, tubes, tobacco and everything in a kitchen drawer that came from a old kitchen cabinet, been using it for years. It is perfect for the job ,I just put the drawer on my lap with everything contained plug in the machine and the finisher , and make my cigs while I watch TV. The drawer is 20" long X 14" wide with 3" high sides, It gives me plenty of room for everything I need in there and the sides being 3 inches keeps everything contained. With smooth contact paper in the bottom of the drawer , gathering up all the extra tobacco with the credit card is easy peasy. I'm getting tendonitis in my thumbs and wrist from from using the lever on the machine and pinching the ends of the cigarettes so I think this is going to help with that a lot, along with the new automatic machine with no lever With the finisher it is even faster than the way I was doing it. A Simple little gadget that works perfect for what it is made for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that rolls their own. ... show more

  • Works great. But gets very loud
Works great and is relatively inexpensive.... BUT this thing gets loud. Not gonna wake up your neighbors, but it will wake up others in your own house. Ive tried oiling it. Didnt help. That said, I still have it. It still works as intended. Going on two years of heavy use.

  • Amazing and EXCELLENT
This is an AMAZING & EXCELLENT product. A little messy, sound can be a little annoying and loud. EASY FIX: put it into a container which has a lid, make holes in both ends, one for the electric cord, one to put the cigarette in, to close it. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

  • Works, but not what I expected
There are those that like, and others that dislike this machine. I'd say I fall somewhere near far-left of the middle. Normally I don't write a terrible review{1-Star Rating} of a product, but on this one I had too, mainly because it poses a danger to the user and others, as well as curious pets, like cats that have to examine anything that moves or makes a noise. The machine doesn't always fold the end of the cigarette very well, at least not enough that it contains the tobacco without it falling out. Inserting the cigarette to get a good seal is difficult because the machine is constantly running, but I feel the problem is the blades that shim or cut down the cigarette are too close to the insertion tube entry/exit point, they are far too close to where the cigarette goes into the machine, these blades should have been a little further back inside the entry/exit tube. The issue is the insertion of the cigarette, as soon as you get it near the insertion tube, it starts causing the cigarette to swirl in a sweeping second-hand clockwise motion very fast, this makes it difficult to get the cigarette inserted inside the tube to get a proper cut, fold and seal on the tobacco end. I tried using this on over 100 cigarettes, either I got a cigarette cut down too short, because of the cigarette spinning as I tried to insert it or after insertion and trying to lightly pushing it into the blades, it came back shorter than it should be, essentially ruining the cigarette, since it was now shorter than the ones before cutting, sometimes by as much as 1-1/2 inches off and folding the end. Wasting tobacco and the cigarette. And because of how close the blades are, if a child or pet would happen to brush up against this RYO Finishing machine, there is no protection from being injured, and possibly very severely. And because of this I WOULD NOT, DEFINITELY NOT recommend this RYO Finisher, it's design to me is dangerous, and even I felt uneasy using it with the way the blades are far too close to where you insert/remove the cigarette, even before I could insert my cigarette to be "crimped", it was getting cut before it ever got inside the hole to the blades, they were already shaving it just as it neared the input hole, not even inserted into the tube before the cigarette was already being cut and pressed, that makes this machine dangerous to anyone that uses it while running. The insertion tube should have been longer or the blade shaft shorter, that way the cigarette end MUST be inside the tube before the blade starts doing what it is supposedly designed to do. Because this is a blade, it blows air out just like a fan circulates air, that is also why it is so messy with tobacco getting everywhere and as far as 3 feet away from the machine! That's not a good design at all. Because of the harsh air flow from the cigarette tube insertion area, you should also be wearing safety goggles using this machine, otherwise you can get tobacco dust and shimmed tube paper pieces blown into your face and eyes, that IS NEVER a good thing! I'd also recommend a face mask over your nose and eyes if using this RYO Finisher, so you're not breathing in the dust and paper particulates this machine blows away from the cigarette being cut and "crimped". I had hoped this would have done the job I was hoping for, to help prevent loss of tobacco from my RYO cigarettes, sadly, tobacco loss still occurred, I was still losing the same amount of tobacco as I was BEFORE I tried using this RYO Finisher. Sorry folks, to me, it doesn't really work as stated, is dangerous due to the design of the cigarette insertion tube and the blades being far too close to almost exiting the insertion tube, which seems to actually extend outside the insertion tube when running, just enough that this machine could, once again, cause serious injury to someone or a pet. Nope, in all honesty, I could NEVER RECOMMEND using this RYO Finishing machine. If it weren't for the cost of returning it and losing money, I would return this RYO Finisher and get my money refunded, but I don't drive and can't get it to the Amazon Return facility to send it back at no cost to me, as it is just too far away and not accessible to me being disabled via other means that I have to rely on to get to places. As it is, I'll keep it, dissect it and find a way to use the power source and other parts for other projects of some type. ... show more

  • Meh
It does what it’s supposed to do but after using it, it’s super overpriced for what it is. I don’t know if I would purchase something like this again. Hind sight is 20/20. It’s really not even remotely necessary to spend so much to “close” the end of your smoke. It makes a mess and plus after rolling a cartons worth of my smokes I’m just ready to be done and really just too lazy to use this. It’s a great finisher but totally not worth 50+ bucks nor is it a necessity for anyone that RYO. ... show more
