Wow ! this Leaf Only cigarette finisher is really great, I should have had it years ago. Glad I found it, I wasn't sure if it was going to workout but I figured I would try it, Glad I did. I don't know why some people are saying it is noisy, the one I got is very quiet. The way I process my cigarettes is, I inject the tobacco in the tube with my Powermatic 4+, which has been a great machine for over 2 years, Powermatic 2+ before that. (I just ordered a Powermatic 3+ it will be here next week) It leaves a little bit of tobacco sticking out the end , then I pull a little bit of that out , tap the filter end three or four times to pack it down, then I pinch the ends over so tobacco won't fall out. Now with this finisher after I inject the tobacco in the tube I pull the little bit out of the end then , just stick it in the finisher, no need to pack it down , it makes a great cigarette every time. There is no worries about any mess, I have my machine, tubes, tobacco and everything in a kitchen drawer that came from a old kitchen cabinet, been using it for years. It is perfect for the job ,I just put the drawer on my lap with everything contained plug in the machine and the finisher , and make my cigs while I watch TV. The drawer is 20" long X 14" wide with 3" high sides, It gives me plenty of room for everything I need in there and the sides being 3 inches keeps everything contained. With smooth contact paper in the bottom of the drawer , gathering up all the extra tobacco with the credit card is easy peasy. I'm getting tendonitis in my thumbs and wrist from from using the lever on the machine and pinching the ends of the cigarettes so I think this is going to help with that a lot, along with the new automatic machine with no lever With the finisher it is even faster than the way I was doing it. A Simple little gadget that works perfect for what it is made for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that rolls their own.

I roll my own cigs and noticed I lost a lot of tobacco right into the cigarette case. I tried sealing my cigs manually but seeing as I'm rolling for my wife as well it was tedious to say the least. You can do it your own way but my setup is a regular cookie sheet pan that I place on the coffee table when I get set to roll In the cookie sheet I have a Hawkmatic roller on the right with this little puppy sitting on the left hand side . I keep my tubes on my right, slip a tube on the roller fill the hopper on the Hawkmatic and start rolling. Once I get about 20-30 cigs rolled I use this finisher. It takes maybe 2 seconds per cig and does spit some tobacco out into the cookie sheet ( but that's why it's there to catch all that) when I'm done I just use a brush similar to a makeup brush to recycle the tobacco back into the bag and we're good to go. It is a little noisy but unless you are running the thing for an hour I don't think it's enough to be annoyed about. Takes about 1 minute to finish a pack of cigs and now there's very little tobacco lost in the pack and no hot ashes falling out of the cigarette in my vehicle. Overall I would highly recommend this product for this purpose.

This works great seals up the end of your cigarette perfectly, no more tobacco bits everywhere.. I saw someone on here made a container for it out of a lunch meat container good idea works perfectly, I put an eyelet grommet on the front to guide it perfectly, put one on back too so I can unplug it for cleaning,choose a container with a see through top helps alot l... I also cut a small square on top to turn on and of easily... Highly recommend you get one mine is great! Update: 10/14/25: If it starts making a loud squelching noise just add a couple drops of oil or a small squirt of WD-40 holding the machine upright right under the nodule I included a picture of where to oil I did that and my machine runs smooth like it's on ice, great product! I've included an extra picture with an arrow pointing the spot that I owed at just make sure to hold upright give it a little squirt wipe any excess oil off machine and let it run for 20 seconds noise gone!

It basically does what you want it, but it could be better. I’ll explain what this is doing in a very simple way - where anyone who owns cordless power tools will understand. Picture the chuck on a cordless impact driver - thats basically what the end of this machine looks like, but its slightly larger with a hollow round hole, instead of it being a 1/4” hex shape on an impact driver. Slightly recessed into the “chuck” is a roll pin spanning the diameter inside the hole. Turning the machine on makes the “chuck” with the roll pin inside rotate at high rpm. You insert the tip of your cigarette it will contact the spinning roll pin. Any tobacco hanging out of the cigarette gets cut (there is no sharp edge, it’s literally a round roll pin thats spinning) or just flung out of the tip of the cigarette, and then the paper of the cigarette tube starts to collapse inward on itself, the only way it can really move. Firstly - this thing makes a giant mess. Its literally throwing out small tobacco pieces everywhere. I found an easy way to contain the mess as best as possible - is by using it inside a small cardboard box. If youre sitting at a table, place a small box on its side with the opening facing you. Cut a small hole on the bottom of the box ( the actual bottom of the box will become the back wall of your little work enclosure when you lay the box on its side) and run the power cord through it. With the electric finisher inside the box - the box should now provide you with an enclosed workspace - except for the one side thats facing you. 95% of the tobacco that gets ejected from the machine will now be contained in the box. Along with almost eliminating the mess it would be creating, you can now reclaim those tobacco pieces and throw them back in you tobacco bag when you finish. IMHO - this machine would work better if that roll pin was replaced with sort of paddles that actually folded the paper down onto itself (its hard to explain what I’m thinking, like running a 4 sided wood foster bit in reverse), but seeing as this is like the ONLY electric machine available, is ONLY about $40, and basically accomplishes what you want - its hard to complain. Its just missing the “repeatability” factor, as each cigarette will appear to be “finished” slightly different then others. The good part about the roll pin, is really cant press the cigarette in “too hard” since once it compresses the tobacco in the tip, you just cant push it in any further - like a pencil sharpener the will sharpen a new pencil down to a stub if you kept going.. definitely try the box idea if you get this.. its well worth it.

I ordered this product and it has exceeded my expectations. Rolling my own smokes was ok but always had to deal with the loose tobacco getting everywhere and by the time i got to the last cigarette in the pack it would always be so loose. This sealer works very fast and does a great job.Just make sure you simply blow it out once in awhile as sometimes tobacco gets stuck in there and you will be fine. Once again it works great and would reccomend it to everyone who rolls there own..

I really love the fact that this device rids me of one of the woes of RYO smokes...the sprinkling of tobacco in every case, and every time you handle a cigarette. It definitely solves that problem. Overall, the finisher feels a little loose and cheap, and it is seriously loud. I was hoping to have a little assembly line with this and my PowerMatic III, but having that buzzing going on the whole time would not be worth it. So, I roll a pack, then finish them all at once. It's also a bit messy, throwing up ground pieces of tobacco with each cigarette. I considered draping a dish towel over it to at least direct the mess to a tray underneath, but you have to be able to see the whole or you'll come away with half a cigarette. All in all, I'm making it work, and it's better than not using it.

This is an AMAZING & EXCELLENT product. A little messy, sound can be a little annoying and loud. EASY FIX: put it into a container which has a lid, make holes in both ends, one for the electric cord, one to put the cigarette in, to close it. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!
