Works as advertised. And it's quick, too. You can finish a pack of 20 in just about under 2 minutes. And like other reviews say, it's a noisy little bugger. But it is efficient, if a bit pricey. But I roll my own cigarettes to save money, and all that tobacco which drops out the tips into your box or pack is throwaway. Not much, admittedly, but in the long run, adds up. RYO is messy, but cleanup and adding back to the stash saves. So in that context, this gadget will eventually pay for itself. If that is your goal, then I can recommend this unit for you. It is small and compact, the power unit is about the same size as the gadget itself. It provides plenty of power cord at each end so you won't feel cramped when working. I recommend rolling all your cigs you need first, then finishing them with the Leaf Only Finisher. This is the most efficient way to use it, because once you turn that switch on at the rear, "go baby, go!" until you're done.

I ordered this product and it has exceeded my expectations. Rolling my own smokes was ok but always had to deal with the loose tobacco getting everywhere and by the time i got to the last cigarette in the pack it would always be so loose. This sealer works very fast and does a great job.Just make sure you simply blow it out once in awhile as sometimes tobacco gets stuck in there and you will be fine. Once again it works great and would reccomend it to everyone who rolls there own..

I feel like most people will note 3 things when they first use this. 1) Out of the box it sounds awful when turned on 2) it makes a mess and 3) it actually does a pretty good job doing what it suppose to do. If you are here like me you likely trim your RYO Cigs for a clean look and wondering if there is a better way. This is the better way! Just needs some help. The sound it made out of the box was like 10 dentist drills and made me wonder if I could even use it but can confirm this stopped during the first use, not sure that meant the oil spread or it hit a harmonic. Either way, much better now but Leaf Only needs to QC these! The mess it makes I fixed with a thin clear plastic guard. Makes a world of difference but also wonder why at this price Leaf Only didn't consider this. Lastly, it does do a wonderful job of cleaning and slightly beveling the ends of the paper inwards to keep tobacco in and take a fraction of the time as using a scissors.

messy and a little noisy, but does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would recommend, saves on tobacco and messes in your cigarette pack or however you are storing them.

I made a homemade crimper of sorts a while ago to minimize the tobacco falling out of the tubes. A bit of a pain, but necessary. I searched "cigarette" and this thing popped up and thought, "what the heck?". This thing is great, fast and very effective. Wish I had it sooner. Highly recommend

I just got this today 12-27-24 and used it on two packs I had already made. It doesn't take much pushing it into the Leaf Only machine to get the job done. Heck, just a second is about all it takes. I cleaned out my packs just to see how much will be left once the pack is gone. It's not all that loud either. Almost like my electric shaver or hair clippers. My container is a Rubbermaid, I think. You can get them at Walmart or the grocery store. It's an 8 cup version and cheap. The things in the photo are just there to show where I put the holes. The machine and cord both fit inside when I'm done.

I roll my own cigs and noticed I lost a lot of tobacco right into the cigarette case. I tried sealing my cigs manually but seeing as I'm rolling for my wife as well it was tedious to say the least. You can do it your own way but my setup is a regular cookie sheet pan that I place on the coffee table when I get set to roll In the cookie sheet I have a Hawkmatic roller on the right with this little puppy sitting on the left hand side . I keep my tubes on my right, slip a tube on the roller fill the hopper on the Hawkmatic and start rolling. Once I get about 20-30 cigs rolled I use this finisher. It takes maybe 2 seconds per cig and does spit some tobacco out into the cookie sheet ( but that's why it's there to catch all that) when I'm done I just use a brush similar to a makeup brush to recycle the tobacco back into the bag and we're good to go. It is a little noisy but unless you are running the thing for an hour I don't think it's enough to be annoyed about. Takes about 1 minute to finish a pack of cigs and now there's very little tobacco lost in the pack and no hot ashes falling out of the cigarette in my vehicle. Overall I would highly recommend this product for this purpose.

The machine works well enough, they could have added a shroud for all the flying bits of tobacco. My main gripe is with the price. For 50 bucks you get a 12vdc motor in a project enclosure with an extremely sketchy power supply. It's an invaluable tool for rolling your own cigarettes, but if your handy you could build the same thing for under 15 bucks.
