Love love LOVE how absolutely gorgeous these boots are! And they're pretty close to being, "true to size". (Just a hair bigger). I've been wearing them to work often, and I do construction. They're truly holding their own am the while taking a beating! Thankfully they're made very well because I've put a lot of miles on them, dropped gravel onto them and even spent the day in the woods cutting wood! The only minor flaw is that the very bottoms of the boots are chipping away a bit. Like a flakey "rubber/plastic" material. But I still LOVE them and was very surprised at how comfortable they are, even after wearing them all day and through the night!

I didn't care for the calf area be wider than my calf. I'll live with it. Very comfortable. I did need to add inner soles cause I have sensitive feet. I have to do that with all shoes and boots that I purchase. No real complaints. I guess you could let me know if they are waterproof or do I need to do the waterproofing? Thank you all.

Mid calf boots with chunky heel. I needed a nice pair of western style boots for an upcoming concert that I have. I don't own any boots, so I don't have anything other to compare these to. So as someone who is just using these as a fashionable item, I love them. They go mid-calf and have the small chunky heel. I got my usual size and they fit as expected, they fit perfectly with socks on. The design is nice and cute, they look great. The quality of the boot overall is great to me, they feel nice, they look sturdy, the design is complete. I am going to wear these with skinny blue jeans. However, these would look so good with a cute dress, skirt, or even denim shorts. So versatile in how you could style these. This is my only true pair of cowgirl style boots and I'm happy with how they look, feel and wear. If you're used to wearing high-end, high-dollar western boots, then you may be able to judge better than me. But these are perfect for someone who wants to complete a western style outfit or cowgirl outfit!

These boots are amazingly comfortable, probably because of the square toe. I'm used to having to break boots in, but these are comfy right out of the box. I don't think they'd be mistaken for real leather but the stitching is attractive and so far they're wearing pretty well and standing up to scuffs and scrapes.

From my wife: These cowboy boots are adorable! And, the best thing? They fit my calf! The square toe box makes them comfortable, and with the lower heel, they are easy on my back. They have a bit of a distressed color, but it looks right with the boots. I like them!
