  • Complete Overview! (Pros/Cons)
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. I purchased not only the white polygel but also the markartt green polygel kit. The green nails I did were my very first ever set of polygel nails! Polygel is super beginner friendly and I highly suggest it. My second set I painted over with regular polish (red and sparkles). And my most recent set I did with the white polygel as well as the clear that came with my kit. I also decided to buy some gel polish and gold flakes. I have never done nails before and I gotta say that I think they turned out really well. The polygel was strong and lasted about 5-6 weeks. Pros: -Beautiful colors -super adaptable -beginner friendly -not overly time consuming -long lasting -light weight Cons: -I recommend getting an electronic file to help the removal process. (Otherwise it takes ages) -dual forms get super sticky afterwards and are difficult to clean. (Soak in nail polish remover) -with mixing the pigmented polygel and the clear polygel you run the risk of your nails breaking easier. (Not practical; stick with one color and then adding design on top) Breakdown of each set: Set 1; Green polygel kit My first ever set of polygel nails! I was so excited about this kit. However, I was super upset because I had paid for two day shipping and it took three weeks to arrive! Although the polygel took forever to arrive, the lamp I purchased on the same day from markartt only took one day to arrive. Altough the shipping was inconsistent everything arrived unscathed and I was super excited to do my first ever set. This set took me about 3-4 hours. I ended up taking a little dotting tool and regular dark green polish to decorate the nails. I gotta say that on my first set, my nails were super thick. To thin out the underside of my nails after curing I had to use an e-file. I was nervous to use and e-file because I’m not a professional and I gotta say after doing a few sets I am glad I have it. Set 2; Red & Sparkly The red sparkly set I did, I used the white polygel as the base. This set was super simple. It took maybe 3 hours including the red and sparkle polish on top. Super simple. Set 3; Clear/White Marble + Gold This set was by far my most complicated one. I had an idea in my head to make clear and white marble nails. After finishing the set I realized that just the clear and white looked kinda funny and I wanted to do something dramatic with them. I went ahead and purchased some gold and rose gold flakes as well as a gel polish set. I used the markartt base polish as a type of glue for the gold flakes and it worked really well. And then I used the gold glittery gel polish for my accent nail. Although these nails were beautiful, they didn’t last as long as my first two sets. I think the combination of the clear polygel and the pigmented polygel mixed together made the nail loose structural stability. I think that using two different pigmented polygels would probably work better. The clear polygel is just a slightly thinner consistency. These nails took about 4 hours to do, but only lasted 3 weeks. ... show more

  • Perfect for beginners
Color: French Press
I absolutely adore this brand's polygel. The product is easy to work with, not as sticky as other brands, and easy to spread and blend with the natural nail. I am still new to doing my own nails but this product gives me salon quality nails at home. The french press color is the perfect shade for french tips, I would highly recommend this product for beginners. ... show more

  • pretty but messy and time consuming
Color: Twinkling Ballet
The media could not be loaded. I'm giving this 5 stars because it does serve its purpose. It cures well, it's sturdy, and it looks nice. When deciding what to buy I couldn't find any pics of this color so I wanted to add some to show people what it looks like. I'm glad I chose it because the color is cute and I like the sparkly glitter, especially because it's iridescent! This was my first time trying polygel again in 4 years, I gave up on it back then because it was so time consuming and such a pain. I was very excited to try it again, older and wiser and all that... but it is still messy and a pain lol. It slides around a lot while you're working with it which makes it difficult. I tried using dual forms, using full cover tips as dual forms, building on sticker forms, and using full cover tips on top with sticker forms underneath. I basically tried every method I could find just to compare and see what works best, but no matter which application technique I tried it was a mess and a hassle, so personally I'm going to stick to builder gel. I think if you like polygel then you'll like this especially if you like sparkles. If you don't like spending hours messing with your nails then I personally would not recommend it. ... show more

  • Pretty good!
Color: Clear
I typically use Gelish polygel but was tired of paying $40-$50 for a tube. This product is a little stickier but that almost makes it easier to use? It took some time to get used to it but if you’ve never used polygel - I think you’d like the stickiness. Sturdy. Cures well. My nails last 2-3 weeks without issue. I’ve had a couple pop off over the last 2 months but I can’t say if it was user error or not. Anyway!! If you’re new to polygel - get it. ... show more

  • Love this product
Color: Clear
First time using hybrid gel and I ordered this brand in 2 different colors, one being clear. I can say it is completely clear and easy to work with. I like how it will not dry (cure) until you put it in the UV/LED lamp, so you can work on your finger for however long you need to perfect it. I’m a beginner and can say I’ve enjoyed learning how to apply hybrid gel, it works well with 70% isopropyl alcohol as a slip. Will repurchase more colors! ... show more

  • Color does not last
Color: Siesta
Color: I purchased this gel in the color Siesta. Stunning color--it is one of my favorite gels to use simply because of the beautiful mix of natural peach. Sadly, the color you apply does not last! I have not tested any other colors, but Siesta definitely yellows very badly. Your nails might survive one or two fills/rebalances, but you'll want to start fresh simply because of the drastic color change. Strength: The product strength is medium. Too often, I'd make nail extensions using just this poly gel, and the next day the nail would snap. I can't rely on this product as the only product on my nails for strength. I usually have to pair this with a tip in order to survive standard daily usage. Bottom line: It isn't as strong as it should be, given how difficult it is to work with. The color Siesta is gorgeous, but doesn't last. I can't recommend getting this poly gel (in Siesta) as most modern gels do not face these issues anymore. ... show more

  • Don’t walk run and buy
Color: White
By far the best poly gel for the money love the hardness once cured. Does not run and stays wherever you put it. Great work time and the colors are amazing.
