Reviewing Rolife DIY Miniature House Kit 1:18 Coffee Bar, I love Rolife model kits. They make great quality items and they aren’t flat wooden pieces that you just need to slip in a lot. They are 3D pieces that you must make. For instance, in this kit, you have to cut and place the plants in their pots. You have to make the signage, and the chairs, etc. It’s great fun and adds a level of complexity not found in a lot of kits. The quality is great and the pieces fit together as they should. There are always some pieces that aren’t as snug as I would like, so I use craft glue for those pieces (Beacon’s or tacky glue). This kit is almost like a book nook because there’s an LED light that illuminates in the inside, enclosed area, but there is also a scene to put together on the outside of this kit, so it would not be appropriate sandwiched in-between books on a bookcase. It could act as a book end, although it’s not heavy so they would need to be books that stand upright on their own. The instructions are good and are visually focused. The pieces are well-built and all supplies are included, except for the extra’s that are light to haves, like glue.

We ordered this lovely quaint little store-front wooden puzzle for a Christmas gift for my wiife and myself, actually. We love doing puzzles and we also love building these wooden models. So, this little storefront model was perfect. We have completed several of these types of puzzle models from this excellent company previously, and we have always found them to be great quality products, and that never dissapoint us. As this company makes such an outstanding variety of these kinds of wooden puzzles, they also make perfect gifts for everyone of most ages. It should take us around a couple of hours to build this model storefront and it looks like it will be extremely easy. Most of the parts seem simple enough and appear much like the similar wooden puzzles that we have completed previously. Furthermore, as there appear to be were no moving parts, this should make the whole assembly much quicker too. Pricewise, yes these are a little pricey. BUT, I have always found that the quality and the hours of fun, make these wooden puzzles MORE than worthwhile to buy and a joy to build.

I began putting this diorama together as my winter project. I am enjoying all the delightful details in this kit, especially all the printed products, menus and tiny food items. The scale is perfectly done for realism, and the colors and shading contribute so much to the overall bistro feel of this. I'll be sorry to see this one finished because it's so much fun.

So much fun. I've always been into model cars and this gives you that same thrill of accomplishment and creativity. It comes with a ton of accessories. No glue is technically needed but I would use glue as not all of the pieces lock in properly and the included double sided tape is almost impossible to use on some of the smaller pieces and, my experience with double sided tape, it doesn't hold the best the smaller the surface area gets. You'll need scissors and to cut some wire so maybe wire cutters but it's thin enough that you can use some cheap craft scissors. This takes a while to build, longer than a normal model car, closer to a 1000 piece puzzle.

Thrilled with this. Super easy to assemble, it's more like a lego kit than most miniatures I work with, where the pieces mostly just fit/snap together, or are fully prefab and ready to go, with minimal need to get meticulous with something. It's a cute little scene, and looks fairly quality when all together. Directions are easy to follow, the pieces were all there and seem to be good quality, nothing broken or missing. Wiring is simple and works, the only minor complaint is the scale occasionally feels a little odd (it's honestly 90% that bear) but otherwise, love it.

This was fun to put together! The plants were a little fiddly but overall it was such fun, and the end result so cute, that anything fiddly didn't detract from it. Just make sure you have some small pointed scissors and you'll be fine. The small details like the signs, and the menu, are delightful!

The instructions were very easy to follow along and you have to put together everything. It can be tedious at times and I definitely didn't enjoy putting plants together but absolutely loved putting together everything else. I spent a couple of hours on it everyday for 3 days and I was able to finish it without any breakage or problems. The little lamp brightens up the tiny room and allows you to better see all the cute items inside. I definitely recommend this for people who love tiny things and love putting it together.

This wooden set was easy to build and had clear instructions. You only need glue if you do not want to use the provided double-sided tape. Also, the paper pieces are may need assistance of small scissors. You will need to cut one wire piece (with scissors) for a plant. I chose to use glue on some of the pieces but most were fine with the provided tape. The manufacturer image correctly shows the bistro/bar. This build is well designed and follows the Rolife type of thin wood boards and paper. There are a few extra pieces in case you lose one. I had no trouble with breakage but was careful with the thin wood. A cute set that lights up once completed. The two AA batteries are not included.
