This is the fourth Rolife structure that I have worked on in the last three years. Rolife has improved the ease of assembly by 1) prepainting all furniture. 2) precut cutouts 3) Notch system instead of gluing 4) Improved instructions 5) Better quality pieces. As you can see in my photos, I was able to assemble quite a number of items in just a few days- working actively 2 hours at a time. The notches fit much better now. I did have to sand a couple of notches to make them fit better. The directions were easy to follow, because the photos are clear. The “plants” were slightly difficult, because you have to trim stems from these plastic aquarium plants. Things I have noted: 1) Be super careful with the black laser cut pieces for the welcome box. They are really delicate, and only one set is provided. 2) The assembly of the front door hinges of the greenhouse was a little tricky. Be sure to look at the instructions photo carefully. 3) Peeling the plastic film off the plastic panels was hard. It’s like trying to open up plastic grocery bags at the store. Starting with a corner is easiest. 4) For the monstera plant, place leaves on the wire and then glue the two halves together. It’s much simpler than what they have in the instructions. The only negative I have is that one of the four table legs of the work table was shorter than the other three. I had to fuss with it to make the table sit stable. It could be that I just got the bad batch. Conclusion: Extremely easy and relaxing DIY miniature house assembly, since there’s no painting, little gluing, or cutting paper. I have tried less expensive structures, and I have found it’s not worth the aggravation of trying to figure out blurry photos and skipped instructions. I will update once I get to the lighting steps. Addendum: 11/16/23- I have completed the lighting, and it wasn’t really that hard to do. I enclosed a photo of the back of the structure to show you how the wire is strung. The battery box is hidden in the side “shed”. It really is a cute structure and has a cozy look to it. Love the cat door! It needs like a miniature sun to shine on the roof. By the way, only the front door and trims are made of wood. All the other white parts of the plastic is just painted on. ... show more

Looks so real!! *_* pretty nightlight! A lot of reviews mentioning glue wasn’t included but I did get glue in mine. Rolife website states that if its shipped by air glue doesn’t come with it…so I don’t know :/ A month ago I bought a dollhouse Chocolatier. I still haven’t finish it yet because everything needs to be cutout. After receiving this Greenhouse and reading the reviews I realized the Chocolatier is more intermediate level and this is more beginners since everything (but the paper for the base and walls) are precut…i was soooo happy!!! finished in 3 days. Directions are easily to follow BUT there are a few times where there are no measurements for cutting plant stem lengths. So if you or your recipient is someone that does better with full instructions please be aware of this. I cut some greenery exactly as directed and some how I felt like. you get a lot of extra greenery to add at your choosing. I did need to use the provided sand paper a few times but 9 of 10 times everything fit. Taking the protective film off the window pieces was a pain though…there’s no tab to easily pull it off. 1 piece took 10mins.. 2 times the direction said to take the film off of “one side”. Well that wording naturally implies there’s film on two sides and to take it off one side first. I spent more time trying to take the film off a side that didn’t have it.. goodness! Vase for hydrangea flowers is absent.So I wrapped two bundles in Jute and placed on table. Great kit! Totally worth the extra $$ for a pre-cut kit! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was thrilled when this arrived and just can’t wait to start working on it! It is just the most adorable Garden House with so many well crafted pieces (240 pieces in all!) They are all scaled to size to fit into this Garden House some are very tiny which is where the included tweezers come in handy! Everything that I need is included in this kit from glue to the easy to follow instructions with pictures! I couldn’t wait to try my hand at it so I put the chair together and it is fairly easy but I think I will need a good deal of patience when I get to the teeny tiny pieces but then I do love a challenge! The details of these pieces are so realistic and I am just so excited to get started so I can proudly show it off on my Mantel! It will be a very nice conversation piece! I just love everything about this Garden House! The materials are plastic, paper, wood, just the finest loveliest details on them very exquisite metal accessories, screwdriver, sandpaper the LED light fixture and wiring that is just so adorable! It does require 2 AAA batteries not included. It is just a most wonderful kit that I am going to thoroughly enjoy spending many hours having so much fun putting this together! This would make such an unique and Such a thoughtful gift for anyone that loves to DIY these little book nooks or Garden Houses! I do think the age is appropriate for 14+ up to Senior citizens! This would be a great project to combine both young and old to work together on it and create life long lasting memories! This is very giftable and would make a very nice thoughtful gift for anyone that loves puzzles, or DIY crafts it would be just the loveliest Christmas, Birthday gift or a very special gift for people that love gardening as much as I do!
