I was initially really upset with this purchase. I built it and rebuilt it several times because the table top always was way off center and left a 3 inch gap exposing the cubby beneath. I read and re-read the instructions. Step by stepped it. Even did it the opposite way. Still no dice. Now I had an assembled table that was clearly wrong. After leaving my review with photos. The seller quickly contacted me. And trouble shot it themselves and send me photos of what they think I did wrong. And also offered to update their instructions because it was an easy mistake to make. And wouldn’t you know it, it worked. I love this table. It fits my small place nice. Has great functional storage for blankets and controllers, and really brings my small front room together. I don’t have a dining room so a dining table isn’t needed, but having a table that extends up to the couch is very convenient for meals.

My husband has repeatedly told me that this is the best investment we've ever made. Easy assembly, lots of storage space, very sturdy, doesn't wobble even when our cats jump on and off. Low profile, my husband was doubtful that there was space for a coffee table in the living room but, like I said, he loves it and thinks it fits perfectly. Saves us the trouble of pulling tv trays out every time we want to watch a show with dinner.

Was on the edge about 3 vs 4 stars. I enjoy the style and functionality of this coffee table, though it is lacking in capability. The 100 lbs. capacity is only when the tabletop is its lowered position, resting directly on the legs. The “Metal” construction is very thin and lightweight (possibly aluminum) that is easy to bend if you’re not careful, likely lending to the 100 lbs. limit. Unless you're familiar with your power tools, I would stick with the recommendations to use a screwdriver, the lightweight material used are prone to striping if you put too much muscle when tightening. The top raises and lowers easily but care is needed as the tension of the springs can cause slamming when closing, which results to impact damage to the underside of the tabletop. The table itself is easy to handles mild heat and condensation well. Though, place mats and coasters are and obvious solution. All in all, the product is as described though it won’t win any awards for being better than expected.

Following the instruction manual that came with the coffee table, it was very easy to assemble. Assembling everything took probably about three hours, but I was happy to see that the screws didn't easily get stripped. The only confusing part is that there are these corner pieces that have tape, I'm assuming it's for the baskets because there are eight of them, but I wasn't sure what to do with them since they weren't in the instruction manual, but that didn't hurt it any. As for the table itself, I recommend making sure there's something in there before using the top part as a table since any weight will make the coffee table tip. The coffee table is very sturdy and feels very premium and not cheap at all. With all of the storage in the table, I was able to clean up my living room and make everything nice and organized.

The media could not be loaded. At first glance the table looks nice however after sitting in front of it for a little bit you start to notice where the screws are it’s got these giant holes that weren’t filled with any kind of plastic wood colored plug to make it look more seamless the bolts stick out a little bit which make it look a little bit more industrial and kind of cheap and still look. The basket has plenty of storage which is nice you can put books in their magazines the table portion underneath the lift has nice storage as well. However because of the type of wood being particleboard I don’t think that the table will last very long. Additionally it’s easy to open however comes down kind of fast and hard which may pinch little fingers

So easy to assemble, your husband can do it while you're at work as a fantastic surprise!!! Usually I'm the handyman around the home, my husband avoids putting together furniture because it's tedious. This was so easy to assemble that he tackled it before I got home!! We love our purchase and it really brings the room together. It's sturdy and attractive. The only downside is the edges are sharp. We put bumpers on the corners but it kept getting us! So instead of using it as we intended as our coffee table it is our storage table. I'm sure it'll change once we get a bigger place.

Solid coffee table. The top lifts easier if you grab both sides. The baskets are handy for storage. Much nicer than our old table and we didn't have to spend a lot more for this one.
