    • Poor Quality for Business Use

At first, this device looked cheaper than other options, which is why I decided to buy it. I purchased it for my business, expecting it to be a commercial-grade product. During the first week of testing, it worked very well. However, after running it for about 10 hours a day, problems started to appear. The sound cuts in and out, and when the volume is increased, the audio becomes very noisy and distorted. Eventually, the unit stops working. Another serious issue is the screen. As you can see, the device is powered on (the red power light is on), but the screen does not work at all. The unit has power, but the display is completely dead. I originally thought this was a commercial device, but based on my experience, it is not suitable for commercial use. The build quality and performance do not support long operating hours. Important note: my business is not even open yet. I was only testing the equipment in preparation. Once my business opens, it will operate around 15 hours per day, and this device clearly cannot handle that workload. Not a good product, keeps disconnecting on bluetooth. No way to select a preferred device. Multizone setup instructions are terrible. At max I have 120 W on each side and the system crashes out. There is a beep that comes that Rockville support failed to do anything about, the one time I was able to get a hold of them. I installed it at a restaurant, I will not touch Rockville products again. I have installed 3 amp of theirs so far, all 3 have had issues but this last one was absolute worse. ... show more

    • Save your money don’t buy this, faults after 2 weeks

Works for 2ish weeks then fails, you can try to do the setup multiple ways but it continues to fail. Also internal fan doesn’t work so it over heats after 20 minutes, definitely not good for a commercial place or if you want to host a party. There’s no technical support on the weekends either, the 24/7 help line is an operator who tells you they don’t work on weekends. ... show more

definitely do not buy this. Rockville knows these are defective and yet continues to sell them :( i bought 3 of these for a non-profit yoga school specifically for the stereo function. all 3 exhibit same issue: fans do not engage as heat builds, system goes into thermal overload (loud beeping). rockville support sent (at my expense) 3 replacement system boards: same issue. rockville support now recommends swapping to an older, non-stereo, RCS unit. neither rockville nor amazon will refund :( i have spent weeks on this :( quite awful that they are still selling these known defective units. ... show more
