Its only been a few days but its a solid AMP, for this rockville amp you will need to buy a wiring kit from their website or search it on amazon. Pretty easy to wire just time consuming, make sure you follow the limited instructions and it should work. Another thing to note is that the dials such as gain and the other dials are all set at 0 when you first get it, so don't be confused if there is no sound coming from them, you need to turn the gain up in order for sound to come out, but don't turn the gain to max or you will ruin the speakers. Before you buy an amp make sure you calculate how much power you will need from it by checking the total power of all the speakers. Comes with a mic too but not really practical because my amp is mounted in the back of my boat so id have to extend all 3 wires in the mic to get it to the front but I don't care enough to do that. Ive seen reviews that the wiring kit I used isn't very good, im not sure myself but just make sure you use the recommended wire kit, and Amplfier for the speakers you buy/ install. This review is just everything I struggled with and want you to know so that you can do better than I did. ... show more

    • Bluetooth stability gets worse over time
Had for about a year and thats all it lasted now the Bluetooth is constantly cutting in and out and turning back on at full power every time it reconnects, by the way it cuts on at full volume every time it connects scares the .... Out you when you don't remember to tap the volume down immediately when it says connected thumbs down for that ps i did read that issues was fixed before i bought mine they lied very annoying on the plus side it sounded pretty good once you wrangled with the volume hince the 2 stars rating also it can get hot and go into protection if you have the volume up in the summer months and I'm in the Midwest ... show more

What a flaming pile of you know what. Won’t turn on at all. No power to the unit. Tried on 4 different fully charged batteries, brand new power cables with the prescribed connectors. It’s garbage. Don’t buy this unit. Spend the money and get a half decent working amp. Took too long to install and now can’t return it. Trash. ... show more

    • Bluetooth doesn’t work
Great amp when the Bluetooth works . As others have stated the Bluetooth connects then disconnects. Had mine for about 3 weeks and the Bluetooth doesn’t work half the time . I asked Rockville if they knew about the problem and they said no but there are many people with this same problem . I’d get a different model if you want Bluetooth ... show more
