Edit - Credit where credit is due. After receiving a unit in poor shape, a new one was out to me in two more days. Mistakes will happen and a solution was delivered very quickly. My stars for this amp will change once all is installed and tested. After much comparison shopping, reading reviews, etc, I decided to take a chance on this amp from Rockville. Unfortunately, I was unable to even hook it up and test it out because it was shipped to me in the worst condition of any item I have ever gotten online. Before opening the box, I noticed that the amp was moving freely in the pachaging. Once opened, it was obvious that the amp had been installed in someone else's vehicle as there were scuffs and small dents on multiple areas. To top it all off, there was NO hardware at all, not even a manual, I am supposed to receive a replacement in a couple days and will update this review at that time. To anyone thinking about spending any money on this company, please consider this story before doing so. Shame on you, Rockville. ... show more

Well I bought this item as used like new the item arrived and the speaker connection panel was open a bit seems like the amp was opened, speaker terminals were missing but found it in the packaging. There was a significant amount of scratches and finger prints on it. There were two brackets screwed to the bottom and two missing, no fuse no manual no wiring. If it says like new then I would expect to get what it supposed to come with. Now I'm skeptical if it would even work haven't tried it yet ... show more

This was the best purchase I have made for my slowly evolving system. I’m currently running a 12” DVC sub and 8 full range speakers. The crossovers and separate gain work perfectly to clean up distortion. This baby is what I had hoped it would be.

Alright had this for a little while and ill go through the pros and cons of everything. Pros: 1.) Clean mounting 2.) Power output is great 3.) Bluetooth feature means no head unit needed Cons: 1.) Hot summer day you can smell the amp getting hot 2.) When the initial connection through bluetooth is made. Automatically plays full blast. And you cannot change that. 3.) Not a real 8 channel.     • Low power and hits protection mode a lot
It does work and the 8-4 channel splitter doesn’t work. With some 6.5 speakers turned up it hits protection mode all the time and you must know it’s a pain because it starts at full volume which if playing music it will go straight to protection mode. Honestly I hate the amp and don’t want it at all. Waist of money! ... show more
