Got this for my granddaughter and she absolutely loved it! Huge Hit!! We researched a lot online to find one that would suit her and this one definitely ticked all the boxes. Very sturdy, easy to use for beginners and has enough options that will keep her interest.

Constant errors sent to my printer. Love the colors so kept trying to make it work but can’t babysit 15hr prints

I do like the size of this drum set. It is easy to use, but I'm not impressed with the sound quality. I assume though it is hard to get this type of set to sound real. I bought this for my 8 yr old. He was begging for a large drumset, which I was not about to buy because of size. He plays with this, but it is hard for him to learn right now, being his age.

I was looking for a good quality entry level electronic drum set as a gift for a 9 year old. Electronic drum kits are take up too much space, and are too expensive, in my opinion, for someone just getting exposed to musical instruments. This electronic drum set by ROCKSOCKI is compact, about the size of a vinyl record player. Basic usage is pretty straight forward. The additional features are a bit more difficult to figure out, as the manual is very sparse. There are click-tracks and demo beats to practice to as well. One thing I did notice that once turned on, the drum pads are not immediately reactive. You have to hit them a couple of times initially to get it to respond with the respective sound. Once powered up and ready to go, however, it worked fine. Overall, this was a decent gift for a child just getting familiar with playing music, but serves more as a toy than an instrument.
