One board was slightly warped and scratched, the other had a slight twist. Impossible to joint, have to use them for another project.

Board was bowed & cupped upon arrival. Can't use in this condition. I've had 20lbs on it (for days) to flatten out a 2' board.

I bought the plank to use for a project on a boat. I was looking for the good looking, durable and sufficiently water-resistant wood. Well, I got only 1 quality with this purchase: a good look. The wood is too soft for a real mahogany. It scratches easily, it bends and breaks much easier than oak and feels softer under a saw or a file. The wood piece I left outdoors to test the water resistance became crumbled, and developed a crack when dried. So I have to run a stain/varnish on that 'mahogany' to make it to a project. In brief, dissatisfied.
