Confused why this luggage has pink lining, with polka dots, no less! Be aware when purchasing for a person who would not prefer their red luggage to have a pink, polka-dot lining... like my adolescent grandson.

    • Not for "bag checked luggage" - zipper failed, lost a wheel!!!
Perfect for carry-on.......but do NOT risk "checked luggage"!!! I purchased a "luggage belt" to help identify my bag, fortunately, it helped secure my contents when the zipper failed!!! I don't know if it was "baggage handlers or poor construction"; but, if you only want carry-on it's cute.

We actually really like this luggage set, and wanted to love it, but the first time we used it on a trip abroad the zipper panel (inside lining) ripped…and ripped a lot. We travel pretty often so I can’t just make do with the ripped panel.

    • Have had this luggage for 5 years
My son and I have this two-piece luggage set. I purchased it five years ago and we have used the large piece for air travel three times (twice internationally, once with a layover where we had to claim and then recheck our bags). We have also used the smaller case several times for shorter trips by car. We have not had any issues with this luggage. It seems to hold up well. The wheels did not fall off. The zippers worked. Both pieces got a bit banged up during the flights, but didn't crack or break. However, my husband purchased this same set a few weeks ago, largely based on our positive experiences. He only used the large piece. Unfortunately, the handle stuck in the "down" position on the last leg of our flight. As we were heading home, it didn't matter too much, but, even after we got home, he couldn't get the handle to move and he had to return it. So, I'd say this luggage set is hit or miss. My advice is to purchase it close to your trip so you can return it if it is defective. ... show more
