One year ago today May 5, 2023 I purchased this bench/stool. I have used it daily since then at a total of 1365 hour's with my rear-end keeping it warm. Today I received my new bench which is much larger (30”). You can see my video of the first bench. The frame is still in perfect shape so I am going to reupholster the seat and will use it for gigs and keep the new bench at home. The faux leather is sucky but has been very comfortable and has worked nicely for me. I’m not going to slam its reputation by griping about the covering. The stool was inexpensive so I figured it would get split like it is. I have been enjoying the softness of the cushion for 1368 hours and once it is reupholstered (I plan on genuine leather) it will be good for many more hours. My new duet adjustable bench is 3 times the price of my current one and 4 times the weight. I also purchased it with faux leather as well and I plan on reupholstering it with genuine leather, if and when it needs it.
