I used it in 40 degree weather to mow the lawn. I had started with just at hat on but the zooming around the yard on the lawnmower was causing chilly air to blow onto my face, my eyes started watering profusely due to cold, my nose started running and I couldn’t see where I was driving. I stopped mowing, yanked this sucker over my head and was able to spend 2 hours mowing the yard in chilly weather. It does cause glasses to fog up a bit, but whatever. I do like that it’s long enough that it covers both the front and back of the neck and keeps them warm as well. It wasn’t difficult to breathe in, and I didn’t get hot or stuffy in it. It was extremely comfortable and I definitely recommend. I’m a small woman, and it’s slightly too big on bottom and not as big as I’d like on top. I’d like it to cover more of the top, going lower down on my forehead, but when I tried to mess with it to do that the mouth flap would come up over my eyes. 🤷🏻♀️ Not perfect, but 100% usable and comfortable. I think people with normal sized heads/faces won’t have any issues. It kept me warm and that’s all I really care about. ... show more

I'm ordering another one after misplacing the first one I bought in early March. I use this primarily for riding my E-bike to work. In the spring and fall months it's typically around 40 Fahrenheit in the morning and my bike averages about 22 mph, which makes a pretty cold wind. This absolutely performs as advertised. Surprisingly wind proof and really warm. Even my ears stay warm. I was imaging the wind going through the eye hole and getting my ears cold but it doesn't. Great design. Ill use this new one for other winter activities as well. The only small issue I found was the humidity from my breathing got the fabric around my nose a little damp but I found wearing one of those leftover disposable masks we all now have cured that. Recently the mornings have dipped down to the low 20's. This still works decently well. It definitely takes the edge off and makes the ride in still fun. ... show more

I like it because it is warm but not insanely thick. I have a medium size head and I only had to let my hat band out one extra snap for it to fit over. I also like that the length is long enough to cover neck and tuck in coat or shirt.
