Ok I’ve only done one short 15 mile ride to test it, but for $20, I'm kinda shocked at how good this saddle is. Yes, it’s a tad heavier than my worn out Bontrager saddle that’s starting to tear at the back of the seat, but if I lose the weight I need to, what difference does a few ounces on a saddle make? OK, sure, if you’ve got a $6,000 carbon fiber ride with a Dura-Ace groupset that you’re training for your big road event, sure, go ahead and buy the $400 Italian saddle because you obviously have that kind of money and wouldn’t put a $20 seat on it, especially with the ribbing you’d get from your fellow roadie snobs. lol. But for me, a casual rider on an aluminum Trek that only rides 20-30 miles a day, this saddle is perfectly fine. It’s almost identical in proportions and build to my Bontrager saddle (almost like they just reversed engineered it) and is far more comfortable. The rails seem solid (knock on wood) and so does the overall construction. Time will tell if it will last as long as my Bontrager saddle did (seven years) and it is as safe as the rails on that saddle. But again, $20 vs Bontrager’s similar saddle for three times this price? How can I have been so pretentious all this time- although I had a share of high end saddles- favoring more on aesthetics , I finally decided to be gentle to my bum at my age if I want to continue riding long distance. So I thought I’d try something that looks good and hoping for comfortable. This Saddle is what I have been looking for, or rather my butt. Just did a 25 mile and whoa- it actually felt so much more comfortable towards the end of the ride. I truly was smiling. Although the seat is a tad longer for my preference the material was so comfortable. I ordered the race. It’s same width as my previous Sella and Union Sports. The cover material feels like wetsuit material which I don’t mind as it has a cool mesh pattern on it. The saddle definitely looks thicker than what I am used to but really, it’s worth it. ... show more

For the money this is a very good and comfortable saddle. It's designed for the male anatomy and it's made with a sort of memory foam. The cover is a silky fabric which feels nice but probably will not last very long especially on a MTB.

Great seat, got it for my commuter. Far more comfortable than my expensive Italian leather seat on my race bike. Will probably get another. Has enough padding to be usable without bike shorts but still thin enough to not be bad with padded shorts.

I found this saddle to be very comfortable and the price was great. But it only lasted 20 months before one of the rails broke. I weigh 190lbs and I ride exclusively on trails with my mtb. But at that price I can’t complain.
