This was a birthday gift for an 11 yr old girl in another state. It arrived a day later than promised which missed her party day. Three of the paints were dried up and unusable. She was happy to receive it and used it anyway. I gave it 4 stars because she loved it and Amazon resolved the issue satisfactorily. I do think an expiration date is needed for these paint sets because several reviews of various companyโ€™s Rock Painting Kits said they received dried up paints too. Imagine going out into your gravel driveway, scooping up a handful of random rocks, putting them in a mesh bag and telling people you have nice big rocks to paint for rock painting crafts. These were too difficult to paint. I was able to paint them to look like strawberries but that was about as big as they were useful for. And the "stand" for them...is a joke!! Which was a big selling point for me initially. They don't work and make it more difficult to paint unfortunately. ... show more

Fun with the kids to paint the rocks itโ€™s nice that the rocks are white so itโ€™s easier to paint. The stickers could be larger. Acrylic paint comes in nice Little tubs. We enjoyed this project

Great project for kids. My kids are 4 and 6, this was a great weekend project during Quarantine. We painted the rocks and then went on a hike, and left the rocks for others to find. Great quality for the price. The rocks are small but they give you stands to help hold the rocks. Be prepared to get paint on hands but it washes off easily. Would buy again! ... show more

This is a Christmas gift for my Granddaughter. So I have not seen it out of the box. But when I was searching for a set, I based it on how well the rocks looked and that they were smooth. The paints and the extras to add on the rocks looked like a great added bonus! The rocks were one of the best that I could find.
