Really solid kit, I’ve worked on cars for years and was impressed by the quality, especially the 400 amp jumper cables hard to find cables with that high of a limit let alone with a whole kit. Everything in the kit is actually useful, no cheap filler. It’s well-organized, compact, and easy to store, Picked this up for my wife too.

This is a good vehicle emergency kit for the price. The jumper cables are almost 10' long, allowing use in awkward places where getting the cars close is difficult. The tire patch kit is effective and easy to use. The inflator does get hot during use, but not to the point where it's a problem when filling up one tire. I love that it comes with a bright yellow, reflective vest so that other drives are more likely to see you. The flashing beacon is safer than old school road flares, but be sure to check their batteries every so often. The tow strap will get you out of a ditch, but be sure to look up where to attach it to your vehicle otherwise you might just rip your car apart. The glass breaking hammer/seatbelt cutter should be stored in your glove compartment rather than in the kit's bag in your trunk as you'll want that readily available. Overall, the build quality of the materials are average, but they'll do the job. It's keep insurance for the cost of a fill up.

I am very impressed with the KVNTR Roadside Emergency Car Kit, they put some thought into all that it contains. It is a good quality zippered bag with handles that does not take up a lot of room at 13" x 9" x 4.5" and is fairly light considering all that it contains: jumper cables in their own pouch, two led road flare light pucks with batteries included, a hand operated flashlight that does not need batteries, a small air compressor to inflate tires (or toys) that plugs into your cars outlet, a canvas tow line, a handle tool to break a window and cut a seat belt, a do it yourself tire repair kit, a small roll of black tape, a piece of metal on a lanyard to somehow help start a fire, a rain poncho, a yellow mesh safety vest, and a first aid pouch that contains a whistle, scissors, safety pins, tweezers, tape, elastic, a sling, an emergency blanket, bandaids, gauze, and iodine & alcohol pads. And I like that all of the items actually fit back into the bag after being taken out. This is a good item to have on hand for some piece of mind, I am glad I ordered. Would also make a nice gift for a new driver or traveler.

This is a very extensive car emergency kit with mixed quality. I found these items to be decent quality, probably couldn't get much better buying separately while staying in budget (kit is $50 as of time of writing) and fitting into this small bag: whistle, hand crank flashlight, glass smashing hammer, hi visibility vest, thermal blanket, poncho, tow strap. Now, could some of these be better quality if you got it separately? Yeah, the poncho and tow strap could be better but it wouldn't fit in the bag. You'd have a separate bag for poncho, tow strap, air pump, etc. Speaking of the air pump, plastic does feel a little cheap but the budget for the pump alone is probably at most $30 given the other items. It works well enough, automatically pumping air as soon as it's plugged into that cigarette light, but some recent cars either don't have a cigarette lighter port or have one, but in the back trunk. For these cars, the usefulness will vary. My ID4 in particular, only has one in the back, but the pump's cord is too short to reach the front tires. I feel like this could've been better but this is probably ok for smaller cars. 1st aid kit is a little bare bones, but has all the critical stuff: antibacterial alcohol wipes, bandages, gauze packs. The tire repair kit has all the parts, the stabby screw tool to rough up the rubber, the not-twix to plug it, the not-twix holding tool to get it in, and the not thousand island glue. Not sure how the quality of the jumper cables are but they do say 400A and it's fairly small gauge and as thick as any cable I've had. It did come w/ a strong smell that aired out over several days. The only definite 'miss' in the kit is the emergency lights & fire starter. The instructions indicate it has all kinds of fancy pulsing patterns but the battery compartment is screwed shut and you have no screwdriver. Well, how am I supposed to use it then??? With this many items in the kit, most people will just give it a glance and call it a day. I also couldn't get the fire starter to work for the life of me. I rubbed them together hard enough to scrape off the green layer and polish the line to a shine but nothing. No sparks. Overall, I think this is good value for the money. For $50, you really can't ask for more in such a small bag. The vast majority of city dwellers will not be using a fire starter so if you're the type to test that, you're probably a camper or someone more into the outdoors that's spending money on that anyway. As for the SOS lights? Your car has emergency lights, that's the red triangle in the middle of the console.
