It’s been a while since I bought something from Iron Savior. This new album is very solid. The sound is great. Yet Iron Savior just hasn’t been as great without Kai Hansen.

Typical to a degree, but it has some wrinkles. First of all, the sound is spectacular and a little warmer than some of the I.S. albums. There is also patience with regard to the delivery that really shines through WITHOUT destroying the overall power and speed on the album. The title track is an all-time great, EVEN FOR THESE GUYS, who have some really standout tracks in their back catalogue. I'm not going to say this is "better than" this or that album. I think that is a matter of taste, but, I do think it is MORE than fair to say this album can compete with the quality of other Iron Savior releases EASILY ... and is AT WORST likely to fall in the middle of your personal favorites, assuming you give it an honest chance. ... show more
