I LOVE this concealer. I mainly use it for under my eyes. I have dark circles that do not go away no matter what I do, and this covers them well enough without being too cakey or unnatural looking. I find it works best if I lightly tap it in with my ring finger, rather than rubbing it in. My skin can lean more towards the oily side and there have been times where this concealer will sort of "pool" up and smudge in some areas. But I have found that if you are consistent with your skincare routine and use the right products for your skin, on top of making sure to set this concealer with a powder, it will work great. I would not consider this a "full coverage" concealer that will completely hide whatever flaw you are covering, but softens it enough to make it less noticeable and blends in perfectly with the tone of your skin.

I get makeup allergies even to the most healthy, clean beauty products out there. This product is no exception. I should have purchased a sample first instead of purchasing the full size but I was in a hurry due to a trip that I was going on in a few short days and took a chance. Unfortunately no stores around my area had it in stock for me to try, so I felt desperate for something I could take with me. My mistake. When I tried it out it looked very beautiful on and I was so very disappointed that it made me feel so sick even before I was done applying it. I gifted it to my sister to use, since I didn’t want it to go to waste. I wish I knew what I was reacting to, so I knew what I could actually wear. I will say though that with one use I was surprised that so much of the product was used just for applying it one time. If you love RMS and want to use this uncoverup as a foundation then purchase their new foundation instead. If you only want to cover imperfections up and not wear it all over your face, then this may be a good value for you. I love the glass containers and that and it’s clean ingredients (except for titanium dioxide which I try to avoid but is in this product) is the reason I went with this brand.

I bought this concealer this past summer and have been using it now strictly for my eye area (lid and under-eye). Shade 22 is quite pale but matches my medium skin tone and yellow undertones (I haven't tried the other shades). The pros are that it never looks cake-y even when set with powder (I use Maybelline's Dream Matte), and thus, it looks incredibly natural, and it's moisturizing for my dry under-eye circles and fine lines for the colder months. With that said, there are many cons to this concealer: 1) I initially used it just for my purple-colored under-eye circles, and it works better as a highlighter than a concealer. While it does cover up some of the color, my circles still show up from underneath, 2) when I started to use it on my scars and active breakouts, I noticed that my breakouts were getting worse or took longer to go away than when I used my all-around concealer, Maybelline's Dark Circle Eraser. I would attest it to three things: 1) The coconut oil in this concealer as coconut oil is one of the highly comedogenic oils out there, or perhaps there's an ingredient the rest of my face doesn't like, 2) because it comes in pot form, I'm constantly dipping into it with a brush (I used the ELF lip brush) and applying it to my skin which creates bacteria and growth, and 3) the concealer is heavy/thick. I sanitize the product by spraying it with a rubbing or isopropyl alcohol and letting it air-dry, and I do deep clean my brush after every use, 3) it takes a lot of layering to cover up spots, including my eye circles, 4) this concealer definitely has an oily feel to it and that does transfer to how it looks on your skin but can easily be removed with powder, and 5) it also can be quite heavy for the summer months as I purchased it then, and wherever it was on my face it had melted off even when set with powder. Despite its incredible natural look when applied to the skin, I wouldn't repurchase the product, even if I never had any scars or breakouts to conceal. The steep price tag for a concealer that only works well for my under-eye circles in the colder months is not practical or logical to me. It's perfect for the cold as it stays put, but is the total opposite in warmer months because it melts off.

RMS is a great company and has a great product! They are very customer service oriented and I appreciate their quick response to a problem I had that was not their fault. They were very gracious and quickly replaced my item which I appreciate very much. I've been searching for makeup that is good for the skin, and I do believe I have found the right one. I am in my 70's and live in Florida so I don't like to wear much makeup and especially not heavy makeup. This "Un" cover-up-22 works really well with my light complexion. I followed what some other reviewers said about using this not just for coverup, but for my main foundation. The summer weather in Florida keeps this cream at a consistency that's easy to apply. I'm finding in the colder winter, the cream gets a little hard so you have to warm it more by stirring your fingers around inside it. I've been using hemp seed oil, or argan oil for my moisturizer for now. After I let the moisturizer soak in, then I apply the "Un"Cover-Up. After that, I use the Lip2Cheek Smile or Lip2Cheek Beloved for my cheeks, which I love as well. These little jars are small and look to be a lot for the price. But as others have said, you need such a small amount, the product will last probably most of the year, at least the way I use makeup. I went on the RMS website, which has some tutorials on how to apply the different products. That was very helpful for me. All in all I'm very satisfied with the product, the colors I chose, the coverage on my face and the RMS company. I will keep trying out more of their products. They have won me over.
