Unless you have an army of men to help set this thing up, don't bother. The instructions clearly say that this must be assembled on the ground, the lifted up to the tree for final installation. This is impossible without either lifting equipment or an army of men. Once assembled, the stand without the ladder weighs nearly 60 pounds, you're never going to be able to stand this thing up in a tree. I used my tractor to stand it up, because I don't have an army of men to help me lift a tree stand, and it bent the ladder in the process. I was doing exactly as the instructions suggested, just with a tractor instead of people and the design couldn't handle its own weight to just get up into a tree. ... show more
